IGF or HGH or both?
I have been reading, maybe too much, about IGF and HGH as I am considering if I should one or other or even both. Must admit that all this reading has made me more confused than less and seeing the quality of the responses on this forum I am going to put my situation down here and see if you can assist me.
I am a 40 year old man that used to be quite serious about bodybuilding but now I have moved more into a training program used by professional MMA competitors. This training combines a lot of cardio with weight training.
Anyway, my goal is to to gain more lean mass (I am currently at around 8% bodyfat) and to improve my overall fitness and well-being. Being 40 makes it considerably harder than before so I am looking for something that can help me reach the next level.
I have been offered both HGH and IGF, and after reading about those I am seeing some suggest you take HGH, some that suggest to take only IGF and some to take both.
I would be extremely grateful if someone that knows about this subject could give me advice based hopefully on experience.

Re: IGF or HGH or both?
Well we convert HGH into IGF so taking HGH would be better than taking IGF alone but it is much more expensive than IGF. I have used both together and one at a time and I would say if you want to use IGF then HGH should be taken with it because there is a negative feedback loop that will cause the IGF intake to slow your natty HGH release. If you can only use one then HGH would be my choice. I hope this helps you decide brother.

Re: IGF or HGH or both?
I WOULD GO WITH THE GH WAY BEFORE THE IGF.

Re: IGF or HGH or both?
I'm currently taking IGF. The sides are really phucking with me. I feel like I'm doing the pepto dance - quezzy, nauseous, diarrhea - which is phucking with my desire to eat. I'm just trying to get through the cycle. I've lowered the dosages to where the sides are manageable (20 micrograms total; 10mcgs bilaterally) but I'm way below the typical dosage. I have noticed some gains in "fullness" but primarily in the smaller muscle groups. but I'm primarily running it to help recover from a torn pec - so that's what I'm focusing on.
