oh no not again
i was thinking not me, maybe it'll heal up stronger than it was before, maybe i'll be lucky. i had heard that once people dislocate their shoulder it has a tendency of popping back out of socket from time to time. i was breaking up a fight about four months ago and someone came up from behind me when i was throwing my brother off the guy and shoved me from behind and wham my hand hit the ground in a awkward position and caused my shoulder to popped out of socket. it hurt bad i couldn't move it for about a week, and i took a month off at the gym (which killed me by the way). the last couple months i been working it back up and it hasn't even been bothering me at all. Unfortunetly today i was messing around pushing my cousin around and the damn thing twisted around and popped out again, i heard three pops and my whole arm went knumb. so i stood up and popped it back in and here i sit, hopefully it'll be healed by monday so ya'll say a little prayer for me.

Re: oh no not again
Coming from someone that has done it 12 or more times it gets weaker and weaker each time.... I had to have total recon done on it and its AWESOME !! Wish I would have the other one done, the recovery is long and tough but its a brand new shoulder. BUT TRUST ME it will come out easier than the time before. Just rehab it best you can and take it easy till then.

Re: oh no not again
Take it easy, like C said, do your rehab and all should be well. Good luck man!

Re: oh no not again
Stop pushing people around so much and it will heel faster,lol...just messin with ya. Fortunately I've never popped anything out of socket. I've popped a few bones into but not out of socket. I've seen it a few times and damn does it look painful. Nurse it well. I hope ya the best. I have bad shoulders and it sucks. I feel better useing dum-bells instead of straight bar for chest & delts
because of my shoulders. You might try that out when you get back to training if you haven't already. You can adjust the movement to your comfort with dumbells. Get well.

Re: oh no not again
I used to have that problem with my knee after numerous soccer injuries. it would jus slip out when I would twist or turn. I had a second surgery bout four years ago and my Doc cleaned it up and I never had another problem...yet.
