8 grams of saturate fat for only 32 grams of protein and only 358 total cals? I would avoid that personally. My powder looks like this:
(I take two scoopes at once)
Calories 224
Calories from Fat 26
Total Fat 3.0g 2%
Saturated Fat 1.0g 1%
Cholesterol 10mg 0%
Sodium 110mg 2%
Total Carbohydrate 5.0g 1%
Dietary Fiber 2g 1%
Sugars 2g
Protein 46g
Now, I will add 4 oz of 100% no sugar added juice so that bumps it up another 50 cals and gives me a little more carbs. So, it's more protein than Muscle Milk, way less fats, less carbs (or maybe the same with the juice), less sodium and less cholesterol. I don't think there's any comparison to tell you the truth.
If you want to look into it, mine is: https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/dym/elite.html
Shop around, you should be able to get it for less than $30 and it gives you 38 servings the way I take it (double scoopes) so that's only 79 cents per shake. You can't beat that anywhere IMO. This is also why I drink 3 of these a day. I get half my daily protein for less than $3.
i dont use it...i did, but i dont really think it's all that. i'm kinda liken the stuff from true protien!
taste great but its not the best for you.
I have been using Optimum Nutrtion's protein and I think it is great.

I use it for my breakfast shake! rootbeer float yummy!
its not bad to have it early in the morning..to jump start your day.. the best taste hands down..
muscle milk is a prime example of "if it's too good to be true, then it is". if they made it with the same macros as something like ON whey, but with the same taste, that would be amazing.
yeah when i diet its basically following the rule "if it taste good you cant eat it"
It taste like it has a lot of fat in it, probably the best tasting protein I have ever tried but I will stick with my allthewhey isolate, better for me and cheaper as well.........if someone is a hard gainer or super thin then MM is the way to go, they dont have to worry about it.....
our best seller here by far! prob second is syntha 6
You should realize that its not the fat that's important when cutting. Its the carb input. In a carb depleted state (fasting state) you are burning plasma fatty acids and muscle triacylglycerols at only 25-30% your VO2max. The fats are being oxidized at this point to yield glycerol (which will be converted in the liver to glucose) and fatty acids (which is converted to Ketones in the liver and into ATP within the muscle. And a news flash for every one: Saturated fat is actually linked to a negative correlation in cardiac disease.
