where was the school? was it public or private? college or high school?

Is she a permanent resident of the US (have a green card)? If so she should have been allowed in. If not then she can go in as an international student if the school allows it. That is how it is in FL.

the school is wrong! In cali we allow kids to come across the border into our public schools and they can not ask for citezenship that is why the school system is sh*t where I used to live. Maybe every state is different though
