very serious topic!!!

i read this on another board and i wanted to hear ya'lls take on this!!!


Here is a topic that I found an another board, lets NOT mention the board if you know it. This topic is fairly controversial so stay on topic.

As most of you know, many kids under 21 are using AAS and it is becoming an epidemic. Many of these children get their info and steroids online. As an online community we do not condone this, so we steer them away from gear. How should a community handle the growing problem? Do we allow them to register, knowing they can lie about their age, we cant stop them, and answer their questions, still telling them dont do it? Or do we ignore them hoping they will get the message, and delete their posts. As a Family we are responsible for others actions, and the owner of this board could be held liable if a minor is injured, or worse dies. But, on the other hand, maybe we should encourage our under age brothers and sisters away from gear, not deleting their posts, but if they are insistant, give them SAFE advice while telling them NO, dont do it. We all know how teens can be, we were all there, they do what they want regardless, for some of you, it was long ago!! How should WE as an online family, and community handle this situation? And why?

well said except 99% of people start before they truely maxed out their genetic potential. id say if your 25 or older, have some good muscle,decent lifts #'s, and have diet +training dialed in ther is nothing wrong with running a cycle once in a while.

i know soooo many kids that have been "on" alot since they were 16. very,very, stupid.

believe it or not...that's the convo. me and my son had. o2 is 100% right. we just have to reinforce this.. if we could some how cater to the younger body builder, maybe with there own forum or something, where they can talk with guy's like o2, blink, (so many i aint typing y'all) guys who dont belittle them for asking, give them training advise that works with there own nat. system, and possitivly reiforce thier progress. could you imagine when you were 15, 16, some stoke up dude like mike (again too many) actually takes the time to shoot the shit with you about training. inspires you, prop's you up a little...man, witch one of us would'nt think that was the shit!!! just my .02

I'll probably be by myself on this one.

Give them the facts so they can make an informed decision. Yeah they have natural high levels of test but so did Brian Bosworth (it's been awhile since I watched collegiant football, sorry ;)) and he didn't wait for his natural potential peaked.

Most these guys have access to many illegal drugs other than steroids. Steroids, unlike other illegal drugs promote discipline (i.e. training and diet) and teens can't go wrong with discipline. I'd much rather see a teen learning about gear, than mind altering, life dulling, rec. drugs.

I say tell'em whatever you like they gona dodo what they want no matter what you say.
