Let me tell you a quick story
OK. So I work in a town called "Blue Bell" in Montgomery county PA. Blue Bell has the highest $ per capita income. Essentially, it is the richest town in Montgomery Co. Even more rich than Villanova and Lower Merion. Our celebrity home owners include Boxer Michael Grant, Old 76ers coach Randy Ayers, Aetna/US Healthcare founder Leonard Abramson, and the list goes on. SO that should give you a pretty good hint that some people are stuffy here. This morning I walk into my branch to open the bank at 7:30, and the smell of gas is so strong it almost knocks me over. I call the utility company, and put a sign on the door we won't be open until later.
You can imagine how many people were pissed. Comments like, "It's only a gas leak." Hey, fucknuts, you stand in the branch and light a match. People are truely gems, I'll tell ya

I guess it's like anywhere else. There's Blue Bell people where the average income is $100,000+. They are stuck up. There's Lower Merion where Kobe Bryant is from. They are mostly stuck up. Then there's Villanova where Pat Croce and Allen Iverson live. They are stuck up. Mostly anywhere else though, we're just pricks. Not stuck up ;)
Re: Let me tell you a quick story
hahahah got u, got same story 4 u, i work at a bank too since u know that, so they changed the locks on the front door since they fired brandon, and the lock smith came after hours and changed the lock. so the next morning we couldn't get into the branch and we were out for 3 hours, and god damn, customers were pissed as fuck, since i'am the nice guy, i offered to take their transactions adn then mail them the receipt in the mail, but the moral is that they don't understrand that i don't have a key and if i had the new key the branch will be open for sure.
it is like i got to break the doors and let's em in.

Re: Let me tell you a quick story
Mikey your so nice! Anyway, I think that ppl from other areas always think of ppl that live in a nice neighbor hood, bigger houses, nicer cars are stuckup. You got to know a person on an individual basis to be able to make that assumption. I used to live in a city where i heard that all the time. "I hear ppl from your city are stuck up". I heard this most of my childhood. For the most part it is handed down by ppl that don't live there and tell other ppl the same thing, and don't have a clue as to what the ppl are like there.
Re: Let me tell you a quick story
yay Montgomery County, there is quite a variety of people here, but at least the stuck up people know that they are being rude, when you deal with a less prosperous town, they don't usually even realize when they are rude. it's weird to see.
Re: Let me tell you a quick story
Everybody in every town is stuck up or rude. But anyways, I guess people just don't realize that it's not the end of the world and their money is safe. I hardly go to the bank anymore anyways. 98% of my transactions are made online. If I do need to make a deposit, I do it through the ATM machine. Pretty soon there won't be any need for bank tellers as everything becomes more and more automated. Samething goes for cashiers. I prefer to use the self check out lines. The lines are not as long because a lot of people don't have a clue on how to use them.
Re: Let me tell you a quick story
I use online and transfers by phone also, but i had bad experience when depositing money in a atm. It took my money but didn't give me slip or calculate my transaction. Had to wait for three, four days as they would not take my word for it and i didn't have proof. Had to wait for atm tech to send the roll reading before i was updated, so needless to say i only deal with the bank directly now.
