Not sure if this has been asked before, but how many here use a protein/creatine/sugar or whatever drink during their workout to avoid catabolism. What do you put in it? Have you noticed any gains since you started using it? Thanks.

Before its creatine, protein shake and water
During workout...usually gatorade or simply water...I have a 2L with me at all times in the gym.
After it's creatine, ala, l-glut combo...along with protein shake

1 hr before gym time it is a protein drink with some flax oil then half hour before i hit the gym it is eca stack, l-carn. and a apple or a protein drink with some carbs in it. then when i get done it is protein drink, dextrose, vitamins,ala,cla. During the workout it is just straight h20
thanks for the replies, I was reading in a mag, I forget which one it was, I think flex, about people drinking protein shakes (using only small amounts around 20gms protein and 10 gms creatine)during their workouts, and of course a shake with plenty of protein and carbs post workout. I may give it a try and I'll see if it helps any.
My post workout drink is Iss nutrition's Gainer Matrix. 60 grams of protein 105 carbs and only 15 grams of sugar!
Pre work out shakes might just be the new rage. If the science behind it is proven and the emperical evidence is true you can bet that adding in a pre workout shake with the proper ratios will pack some extra muscle on your body.

I'm like Saturn.....I just carry around a gallon jug of H20 in the gym.
I just have water during my workout, but straight after training i have a protien drink with Glutamine, Bcaa and Dextrose.
before workout, banana and whey in water
during w/o, water
after w/o, dextrose, whey and creatine
about an hour before i have eggs and oatmeal
during just h20
and after i have some gatorade and a whey protein shake .about an hour after i try to have a complete meal carbs and protein

I just hit the water fountain between sets...that way I can blow water on myself like Triple H does Hahahahaha!
