The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

i'll agree with you there. 3 days was the perfect peak to that album. great song. the arrangement of that record was perfect. the first half kind of a crescendo, building up to 3 days, then mellowing out for the second half...

navaro was actually writing good tunes back then. did you hear his solo stuff? oh god - i was embarrassed for him! freakin horrible!

It was sparked by someone inquiring why Dave had so much chemistry and success w/JA but not w/the RHCP. Perry went on to say that he was the mastermind of almost all of the material of JA and Porno for Pyros, including the individual musicians material. Something along those lines.

                            crazy...explains a lot though.
