Putting black pepper and other spices on raw meat before slapping the flesh onto a grill grate can eliminate nearly 100% of its HCAs—cancer-causing compounds.
A mix of 1g of black pepper and 100g of ground beef also inhibited HCA formation, but was too pepper-heavy to be palatable—so researchers from Kent State University recommend adding other spices like garlic and oregano to adjust the taste. They found that the most effective spices were rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, sage, marjoram, clove, and allspice.

hell no man. they are all very strong even in small amounts. you could probably get them in better with supplements

True Guns !!! Oregano , thyme , and basil can be rubbed on steaks , ribs , and you won't taste anything out of the ordinary. But it's prob better to find them in Supplements , all in small amounts to have the benefits they provide.

allspice...YUCK,lol. Take a turmeric supp with black pepper in it. Oil of oregano oil works for many things and I have been yappin about it here for the past few years. Make sure you buy a good supp cause like anything they are not all the same.

see i knew it. baby1 already has it mastered. the amounts of these things we need to see really good benefits like it pointed out would be unpalatable. so i would say use the supps. i do cinnamon almost year round both in supp form and on my food. great for blood sugar control and a host of other benefits. we also do tuneric and a few others in an anti inflammatory blend as well
