Omg
Sad thing is that the epidemic is growing.

if seeing what it does to other people isnt deterent enough idk what is? nh is getting hammered by this stuff. it is both sad and pathetic in it's own way. i know in a small % it is the docs fault for over sctipting out meds for pain then taking them away but on the other hand it is also the person's responsibilty as well for not taking stuff when it really isnt needed. the military and va are prime examples of causing issues
:(
Rather than be laughin' at dem honkies how bout callin' for some help ?
choices are a muther f**ker.
I don't understand how anybody would even consider that knowing and seeing what it does to a person. Very sad.
it's a person's makeup and their choices. just like those asshats using krocodile in russia. you know the shit will eat the skin and muscle down to the bone but you do that shyt anyway? wtf. same with the pain meds. i was on and off opiates for better part of two plus years from torn calf 1 to severly strained SI joint to torn calf 2 and finally severe shoulder pain that required two cortisone shots just to make ot tolerable. no issues with the opiates, pain susided to at least tolerable, was good to go with ibuprofen. the opiates helped tremendously with the pain so i could still get through my workouts but was a def hinderance to o2 uptake. cardio was intolerable because i couldn't breathe well doing it due to the repressive effect on o2 uptake from opiate therapy. once pain was tolerable to pop a couple ibuprofen after heavy chest and shoulders and prior to that injury when i could put weight on the calf exercises i put the vicodin in the medicine cabinet and went on with life, no withdrawals, no jonesing for it, no off to the corner to score some smack, just back in the gym and back to life.
My perspective of any addiction, whatever it may be, is it is a way that person chose to cope with whatever. I don't believe anyone wakes up one day and says "hey I want to be an addict". I don't think it means anyone is weak and/or the other is more strong. Just part of their journey.
Just to add to this convo...it's also coming primarily from countries that support terrorist efforts against us...in in affect we are financing the war against us.
