Bruce Jenner Interview last night
What did you think of that?
As a young kid, I idolized Bruce Jenner. I dreamed of being a decathlete. I ran hurdles and threw the shot put in high school because I wanted to be bruce jenner. I had his autobiography, his picture on my wall. He seemed like the epitome of manhood. Who would have ever thought that he was struggling with gender identity his entire life?
I have to admit, I was very surprised by what Jenner had to say. I watched the interview more out of curiosity and assumed Jenner was off his rocker as a result of being around the Kardashians. But the interview taught me a lot about what transgender people go through. I had no idea. Jenner said he has struggled with this his entire life. He started putting on his moms dresses when he was like 5 years old. Makes ya think that maybe people really are born that way. Instead of laughing at Jenner as a circus freak starving for attention, I came away with a newfound respect for Bruce Jenner and other transgender folks. I got an education from watching that last night. I am definitely a lot more sympathetic than before. I am glad I dont struggle with gender identity, but I cant judge anyone who does. I think that interview opened a lot of peoples eyes.

i would concur with you on this one dzone but i dont buy it one bit. they are all driven by money and publicity and i honestly believe they would do anything to stay in the eye of the public and keep the cash cow going. if that wasnt the case and he was all about what he wants to do, he would have faded from public view and then did his thing and became the person that he always wanted to be. i put him side by side with marylin manson and all the other shock rockers that do stuff just for money and publicity
Re: Bruce Jenner Interview last night
To each his/her own i guess. I know he is frightening to look at. But I agree with guns. Go quietly and handle your business. The rest of the wack jobs in that family get all the limelight, niw he's cashing in.....which im sure he doesn't need the cash, but he sure is an attention *****...imo

I don't know what to think, it seems like things are getting even more f#cked up nowadays and in your face. I mean it really bums me out and makes me feel kinda alone and old ya know ? I don't remember people getting set on fire or having heads lopped off on the beach, kids bringing guns to school and slaughtering each other, nobody wants a race car track or train set for Christmas anymore, bison sized people milling around the store in power chairs, politicians giving the country away, and just all this bulls#it that just didn't seem as common as back in the "good ol' days" like when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's. sure we had problems back then too but holy s#it man c'mon !!! Ya know how many people that walk into me at the store or almost cause an accident, or are just so damn brain dead caught up in their phone to carry a conversation ? We had maby two open gay kids in our school and it wasn't no big deal, and maby eight black kids, this was in a small town in Texas for cryin' out loud ! Sorry to go off but I'm getting tired of feeling like everything is just becoming a f#cking free for all. I'm gay, I'm black, somebody is bullying me through a text message, so off to slaughter everyone at school and blow my brains out cause nobody understands me. Are we just losing it ? or do we not have any bollocks anymore ? I feel like the Indian on tv back in the 70's, who's standing on the side of the road and has some a$$hole driving by throwing a bag of trash at his feet. Ya know what bothered me and struck me ? was when Diane Sayer said "so this is this last time we will see Bruce Jenner". It really hurts me ya'll to see everything just thrown away after all we Americans had sacrificed for and prided ourselves. Now we're just one big f#cking joke to the world.

I totally agree with you.I am disgusted every day as I sit back and watch the destruction of the country we grew up in. We had no idea just how good things were back in the good ol days.
Not sure if the country is ever going to recover from the damage that is being done.

Re: Bruce Jenner Interview last night
People worry way too much about shit that doesnt matter these days. If they were working hard and takeing care of buissness, I doubt they would gave the time to think up wearing dresses and whatnot.
