I like the Zs and TAs for the money there really wasnt any cars out that could run with em. and they look good too.
I found that the tower strut brace was the best handling enhancement I made on my SS. It was a 2000 but it's deceased now.
nice i want one too..... i was just looking at one.. 96 for 5k.. not too bad...
Made in Quebec
wait they are destroying the factory
:(
nope not stock :) even the new 03 cobra is 35k, and all they did was bolt on a supercharger to the smaller ford engine. bolton a blower and you'll own a cobra. hell i paid 20,500 for mine, brand new. 5k installed, i'm 10 grand less then an 03 cobra, and spanking them. gotta love it :)Quote:

yeah. but there are numerous things first. finish suspension, torque convertor, tranny cooler, 12 bolt rear end, shift kit, headers, ported heads, wild cam. then i will decide what to do for a power booster :) that'll be a good 450 hp at the wheels, so then i'll decide if i want to put the extra wear on it or not. its a daily driver right now, and just moving into an apartment with my girlfriend so money is real tight. when shes paid off and i have a 2nd car & the money, she'll be a toy car and then i'd deffinetly add a blower. but while im daily driving it, probably not.Quote:

really? did you not add subframe connectors? my torque arm is already not enough with the mild mods i have, so the drive shaft ends up into my exhaust through chasis flex. :( "clunk clunk" is fun ;)Quote:

not bad at all. Parts for the LT1's are cheap too since they've been out for a while. you can get bolt on ready ported heads for a grand. heads for my LS1 are a good 2k plus the old ones on a core charge :(Quote:

yeah mine was made in the quebec plant i think. one of the 2 canadians though, i checked the vin at the chevy store. they also had one plant in Indiana, which most people dont know about that also put out some camaros.
but yeah its a shame they are gone, but thats ok as long as they give a new toy for the money with some balls in that price range from Chevy :)
Nice looking car..
Last of an era...
