i have used imitrex in the past. but my insurance sucks and it is $75 a pop. so I take aspirin and caffeine.
i have also found aspirin and NO xplode works awesome, better than just caffeine and aspirin. I think because it is a vaso dialater.
oh I did not know. it does work though. BC powder does well too but not quite.
let me know how the relpax does. maybe it is cheaper than imitrex. i don't get them often but when i do it is miserable.
as a kid i took periactin every day which is an antihistamine and somehow worked to prevent migraines. made me a zombie though so i stopped.
hope you get them under control. I don't have them often but i feel for those who do
no. they tried but could not figure anything out. they said chocolate when i was a kid so i did not eat any for years fearing migraines but they happened with the same frequency. now i eat a square of dark chocolate every day.
i don;t have them as often as i did but still get them
my fiance used to get them all the time. used mutliple perscriptions. She tried that botox treatment about a year ago and it works wonders for her. her insurance covers it so its very affordable. you get injections once every three months. def worth looking into
I used to take two different things i forgot the names. Neither of them worked. Turned out the migraines where from stress and anxiety.
I hope and pray that any of you with migraines will find the answer that ends the headaches. People can respond different to different remedies. What works for someone , might not be for someone else. And learning about different types of possible solutions is such a learning experience.. Then one day you are saying, wow, I havent had a headache in over a month! I hope that for anyone with that situation.
