i happen to agree with wolfy about needing a base there. and, if we're having a base there, we need to try to secure the area as much as poss. so, imo, we need to push through with the lastest troop build up and move forward...

my dad done 3 tours now over there. at first he was all for it. 2nd tour 50/50 now he says get the hell out of there!
I don't think we should have gone into Iraq to begin with. Bush got his revenge on Sadaam so why are we still there?

not sure i agree in principle, does iraq have a base in our country? But yes it wouldnt hurt to have one over there for our "safety" but we shouldnt have one by force..The thing is weve had one there for a long time and now we have 13 HUGE ones, its nation building at that point.Quote:

Have to agree with Fuzo which is a scary thought. I didnt agree with us going their but now that we are there we have to finish what we started.
