I watched a documentary where weed is used for seizures I wish I knew so I could help you out sorry
gabapentin
I can name them but I only see people on them baby that r bi-polar as they work well for this mental disorder as augmenting there othere drugs. Depakote baby stay away from that if anybody u know is going to use it. weight gain, hair falling out, acne, tardive dyskenisia, blackouts. its just a terrible age related bad drug to take. the hair loss don't come back on the ones ive seen on it by the dr but again the dr is using 1500mg qd. I think if u know someone that is going to take anti- seizure meds I think gabapentin, is the best as far as sides. the trileptal, but, you have to keep a eye out as the trileptal will decrease the drugs that a person might be on and could be toxic. plus tegretal is gtg but its carbamazepine and trileptal is oxcarbamazipine, so there the same. plus lamactil, on, on, on, . gabapentin is best.
Pain med. Never had a siezure
My sister takes them...she used to take klonapins but it messed her up too much...I forget what she takes now but I will ask her and post it then lol
OHHHH, Tegretal I think, however u spell it lol
Keppra (levetiracetam) is a med for seizure control that my son uses daily.
My son took keppra for just over 3 years and still had seizures. Keppra at a fairly high dose is a good "general" medication but the side effects are out of control. My son became very very moody and uncontrollable at times. We have got him on a more localized med now called Oxcarbazepine. Hasn't siezed up in I've 8 months with very little side effects.
