read this yesterday and it is very eye opening for the future
That was a good read. I've had to start going lighter on squats bc my knees. It isnt worth being stuck on pain meds forever.
i was thinking the same thing last night when i was laying in bed with my shoulder just absolutely screaming in pain. so bad that the wife had to get up to get a pillow to prop it up on. i am screwed though because i am destined to be in that zone in the future even without lifting weights ever again so hopefully they can come up with something better in the future
Pretty awesome article. I went through eight years of oxycodone hell and its no freakin joke. As far as the abuse on the body from weightlifting, i think its the cost of doing business the only thing i dont understand are the rediculous amounts of gear guys run. i swear ive never heard of 5000mg a week of test, are you kidding me?? I will never judge anyone on stuff like that but more is not always better.
Just skimmed it but very interesting. Will real the whole thing later thanks for the post.
I know guys who run 2 or even 3 but I've never met anyone who at least admitted to running 5+
if you do the math most people just factor in say test at 2g or whatever. now say you are at 2g of test 1g tren 1g mast and 5-700 winny. that right there puts you at right around 5g of total hormones and that's a mild stack for some competitors. you would be blown away by some of the stuff that national level guys and pros do or have done. not saying all but there are a lot of them running around doing it. not saying it is good wrong or right but it is more common than we dare to think

Hicktown I was on Norco along with 4 other scripts for pain almost 9 years was not hooked but scared to stop. I start TRT almost 5 years ago and came off all those piece of shit drugs. I hate the way pain meds screw with my body.
that and rake is an older than me guy that runs trt and is still jacked and lean. not to mention towering over me by more than a couple of inches. he is also another person like myself that figured out that if you get in there and get the blood and everything moving around it doesnt hurt quite as bad. yes it does hurt but it isnt crippling as it would be if you took that doc's advice and ate that crap day in and day out while sitting on you butt.
Very right guns. I was speaking just on the test. I have a buddy who was competing and showed me his cycle. it was easily 5g per week total plus orals
speaking from personal experience years and years back, i tried the waters of 3g per week and it lasted 5wks and i dropped off. way to much for me or my body to handle and that was the base so i was way higher with everything else but man the sides were horrible.
I to feel that it is part of the game. For the most part most of my injuries resulted from ego being the driving factor. Controlled heavy maxes have never resulted in injury for me. Sure I have aches and pains but trying to be monster and pushing my limits each week is my driving force. I dont want to be average.
When i was getting over all that stuff from the wreck I had, they had me on all kinds of pain killers. You cant workout and eat right on that crap, if you think you are gonna risk getting injured its better to back off and try it another time. Because if you get to where you have to take that stuff all the time you are gonna end up in worse shape than before. You cant push yourself, you cant eat, you cant sleep, you cant even take a shit like normal. Now I still push myself as hard as I can within reason, but when my body says its had too much then its time to stop or go down in weight.
