Its a sad day...
I'm 29, just found out that my best friend from high school just had a heart attack and has no vitals at the moment. Really, I'm just in shock. We were unseperatable from 12 years old to about 20 years old. He started really messing up in life, got kicked out of the air force, began using recreational drugs hard core, went through numerous jobs, and alas we lost touch.
Not really sure why we lost touch other than life itself...you know just got on different paths. He's about 900 miles away from me right now so I really don't know what's going on. Another good friend from high school said our friend was in rehab, checked himself out of rehab, and went and stuffed his body full of meth until his heart gave out. I don't really know what happened but it does sound like my friend, living in excess.
Sorry if this means nothing to you just venting some shock by typing.

Re: Its a sad day...
That is sad. In the past 2 weeks, 2 people I know died of heart attacks. One was 33, and the other was 28. That's F'd up. I remember when I was younger, I thought heart attacks were for "Old people".

Re: Its a sad day...
appreciate the it guys, I still can't find out anymore info...I'm 900 miles from this guy. I don't know if he has officially passed or not.
..and yes Meth is dirty, it has crept into lives. It is no longer a lower class drug or the drug of mexican mafia or hells angels. It is being made in our backyards, our neighbors house, the storage unit down the road. It is literally everywhere. I personally believe that the meth issue now is twice what the cocaine issue was of the 80s. At least coke had to get INTO the country...where as meth recipes can be found on the internet.

Sorry to hear that bro! It's hard to lose someone you used to be close too.

Re: Its a sad day...
Sorry to hear bro, but i think it happens in every age group. Ive had many die at very young ages, not to mention suicide. Sometimes no one knows except the person it happens to, what exactly is going on in their heads.
