The official beer thread!
So, my name is Jipped and I am a beer lover, if I could make sweet sweet love to beer I would. I like a beer with a big flavor. Pale ales and IPAs, ESBs and stouts. I tried a coors light at a BBQ a couple weeks ago, tasted like fizzy water someone put a splash of beer in.
Craft beers are so prolific now and are so good. I want a beer so strong, flavorful and hoppy that it is like pulling the refrigerator out from the wall, cutting off the cord, stripping the wires and putting them in your mouth while still plugged in. I want to see stars after a sip..........BAM:yikes:
I do not necessarily prefer a high grav beer (+ABV) but sometimes they go hand in hand. Price is not a concern for quality.
***I want you to recommend good beers!***
Re: The official beer thread!
haven't drank a beer in years but I did enjoy wizards pumpkin ale . it was almost a breakfast beer lol. I forget who makes the Christmas ale every year but a 6 pack of that would put your dick in the dirt .. strong stuff now theres a microbrew at every resturaunt you go to, today I would prolly find a local and stick to it hell my corner gas station sells micro beer now a whole corner is dedicated to taps of local brewerys
although I wont pick up the trade again you beer drinkers sure got choices now. enjoy

coop brewing workd "F5" is even more intense but less drinkable for those with a bitter sensitivity.

probably the best i have had was an actual genus while in ireland. i cant remember the pub i was in but it was perfect and i dont even like dark beer or genus for that matter. i have always enjoyed the micro breweries myself when i have indulged. they have a couple huge beer shows around my area and you pay like 20-30 bucks and can sample all the various beers that the vendors make. i would say one of my favorites i had was a cherry ale from a local micro brewery.
Re: The official beer thread!
dude i feel the same way, i want to make my own beer and plan on it. i think your from similar grounds as myself so im gonna throw this one out there. saint arnolds just released divine reserve #14, and i got to try some the other day. this shit is the best thing i have had the pleasure of tasting out of that brewery. im not a fan of saint arnolds either bc it seems that they make watered down brews, but dam this was a badass drink. its not gonna punch you in the mouth or anything, but it is a full flavored beer.
