skip the rice and eat something that digest faster. or just drink a shke.
Yeah i would skip the rice. Drink a shake if possible. Definetly take your 500 mgs of ALA either way.
im talking about the meal 2 hours after you train not the post shake!!!!!!!!!!

I forget all of the details but if given a choice it should be brown rice over white rice. There was an article in M&F about the digestion of it and what not. If I can find it, I'll give you the specifics. But I do remember that brown rice is better than white. Peace.

white : cals-205 protein-4 carbs-44 fat-trace
brown: cals-216 protein-5 carbs-45 fat-2
the GI is where the diference may be.i dont have my GI list here but also the brown i beleive has more fiber
The key if your goal is too lose weight is small portions with the carbs .
