TweetCutting weight has become difficult as I age. . had dr do a TSH test
Came out as 0.951 uiU/ML which is on the low end of "normal " range which is in the test report as 0.358 to 3.74
Anyone out there with some knowledge?
I really want to study up and coach my conservative dr if necessary

TweetI have quite a bit of personal knowledge with thyroid issues. With the TSH being on the low end, that would be "hyperthyroid" and usually the opposite is true...weight loss is the symptom. Now it always depends on the person. TSH is not enough of an indicator for thyroid issues. Afew more tests to run would e Free T3 and Free T$ as well as thyroid antibodies. the task is getting a regular doc to run these as they usually base everything off a TSH. if your doc will run more, try those tests too
