What I am writing about today is not a new subject, but the matter it’s about is coming around again and I want to focus attention on this as much as possible. That matter is qualifying for Raw Nationals with the USAPL. For those who may not be aware of why this is an issue I will bring you up to speed. Raw Powerlifting (Powerlifting done without supportive gear) was officially recognized as of 2008 by the USAPL. With that came a Raw national event and local contests. At first this National event didn’t have qualifying requirements (other than being a USAPL member) to take part.
