TweetI had one under my arm removed at the derm and he just snipped it and used a blot clotting powder for the little blood there was.
I only got one more and used a fresh disposable razor, pressed hard on the area and swiped it off. I used the clotting powder you can buy over the counter.

I like the idea of snipping them off and using the clotting powder.
The acid works, you just have to keep applying it until the tag is burned off.

that is exactly what i did. had a tag on the back of my neck for the longest time. my mother tied light weight fishing line around it and made it fairly snug, uncomfortable but bearable. what happens is the fishing line cuts off the circulation and it eventually falls off.
However and foremost, make sure its just a tag

TweetWell... Got about 25 shots of stuff to numb and to kill the bleeding and got 9 big ones and about 30 small ones cut off tonight. All of the smal ones were not numb and hurt/ burned Like hell. Least it's over and done with. Fook that wart shiot!!!
