50% of the "jobs created" during the obama administration have come from Texas under Gov Perry's watch.....they can't argue against that stat, but i'm sure they'll find a way to credit black penis

Rand Paul will not run because his father is. They already asked Ron Paul about that and he said, no, we still maintain some discipline in the family.

i live here in Texas and am as conservative as they come but perry is not a good choice. look at his veto record more than any other gov. he is weak on immigration as many of his corporate donators use illegal workers fro cheap labor. reform and tried very hard to push a mandatory HPV vaccine for girls for his pals at merick. (this was total bullshit)

he is pro big biz and all else takes a back seat.

Are you saying he vetoes a lot? If so, that would be a good thing. That was the problem with Bush, he never vetoed anything, literally.

I don't think Perry is any different than the rest of the Republicans running with one exception of course. They all spew the same rhetoric but never back it up. The choices are more of the same no matter which candidate or party is in office, or the alternative limited government approach that Ron Paul offers. That's my 2 cents. I used to be a hard core Republican supporter until I finally woke up and saw most of them for the liars they are. There is no limited government in the Republican Party short of Rand Paul and Ron Paul, and a few others that don't have the spotlight on them. But if people continue to not understand what limited government means, and keep voting in the same ole lame deceivers then nothing will change. Hayek said in his book The Road to Serfdom that once the two parties begin pushing the same policies the country is on the road to totalitarianism. Let's hope that's not the case, but I can't tell the difference between a Democrat and Republican these days with a few exceptions such as health care and gun laws. Other than that though it's as if nothing changed. The government is still growing larger than ever, the deficit and national debt are increasing drastically, and regulations are through the roof.

Government intervention has squeezed the life out of America. All it took was a group of men, which were motivated by the bullshit totalitarian government systems of Europe, to fight for & create the great Republic that once was. That Republican movement which was powered by the most fundamental, basic, common sense logic for a way of life. Absolute liberty. Freedom, from your home to the market. Everyone had liberty. Free to make grown-up decisions. Free to be responsible for your actions, which created & bred responsibility. Businesses were free. A true free-market. Capitalism created the most powerful & wealthy economy on the planet. Obviously, 99.9% of us can't bear such great responsibility. Instead of being humbled by such a powerful system. Man, or most of man, have taken on a dictator mentality. The complete opposite of 'humbled' & working for the people which granted him that position of representation of the people. Republicanism, the ideology which America was founded on, the Republican way of governing has no concern with inanimate objects. You must have a pulse to break the law in a republican system. A true Republic, for which our flag once represented, is based on basic, once common sense, fundamental objective laws. There weren't such rediculous laws as the regulation & prohibition of the last hundred years. Laws based on hypotheticals. subjective logic. nonsense. I can't get over how lazy we've become. It's almost funny, but it isn't. Because grown ass men that want to govern take that oath for liberty, then instead of fighting crime, they push pens across paper & punish everyone for 1 bad apple. & even more ridiculous. The people bend over & take it. Even crazier. We mimick & represent those brand new regulations restricting our liberty & enabling a pork-fat government to grow that much more. It's okay that the law doesn't go after the real crime. Everyone is okay with being treated like children. But, "what about the children?" says the wannabe dictators & the people. 'what about the children?'...They have the people trained to fall right inline. And it's all in the name of 'democracy'. That's what really gets me.
damn! I'm hungry after all that

      Republican Debate
Im so sick of hearing Ron Paul being called a libertarian. He is only called that because the right has moved so far to the left. Its one party with two faces. Obama and Bush/ Pali/McCain/Rmoney/you name it are practicly one and the same. Both big government types, both pro fiat money, both pro federal reserve, both support the rediculous attempt to control drugs, and we KNOW they are more abundant and cheaper than ever, both are for the welfare state, both are for homeland security and the patriot act, both have done bailouts, bboth are for open borders, lots of yip yap, decade after decade nothing changes, both are pro IRS. never talking about cutting spending to the point we would no longer need to pay personal income tax, they both have their propoganda arms, Fox on the right side and MSNBC on the left side, and most of all, and the most detremental is they both subscribe to Neo Conservatism's Empire Building Foreign Policy. Rememeber the Neo Conservatives STARTED FROM THE LEFT! And thats who owns the party now. And MOST REPUBLICANS, dont even know they are Neo conservatives and are actually totally AGAINST what the originla principles of the true conservative party was based Upon. War on terror? my ****in ass. Bunch of Saudis train in Afghanistan and we attack and occupy Iraq? Give me a ****in break. You want to stop terrorism in the U.S. ? Control your points of entry. The Tea Party was co opted by Fox when they hired Palin after the 2008 election to siphon off the energy of the original Ron Paul Tea Party. They made a thing called the Tea Party Express which was bastard mish mash that blew a lot of hot air but still supported big government, unless the ideas came from Obama. If you were to take Romney, Palin, Pawlenty, and the other mainstream Neo Cons and mash them together their would be no distinction. And the social conservatives? Oh brother, they are the death nail of the GOP, scared little *****es. Oh the homo down the street might be infectious? We cant legalize drugs! never mind that those who want to get high, ARE GETTING HIGH, RIGHT NOW, TODAY. So they are pro police state, which is not a conservative value, they are pro big government by supporting the wars, they really are all RINO's. Ron Paul is the only one who LIVES by the tenents of conservatism. But conservatives dont knw that becuse they dont know their own history. But they will sure look at others and jugdge... Ron Paul is the last chance other wise its just businss as usual....And the empire continues to crumble..

Nicely said. I'm heading over to the Freedom Festival here in Vegas again this year. Judge Andrew Napolitano and Rand Paul are among the guest speakers there. Rand Paul just announced the other day he will attend Friday and Saturday. If only he could get his father to come.
