It's bad because a president is supposed to go to Congress for a vote on permission to go to war per the Constitution. You don't want presidents to have the power to attack anyone they feel deserves it. That is how you end up with a dictator eventually. Plus, you piss off a lot of countries. The founding fathers were extremely adamant and clear about this necessary law. But remember what I said in my original post, hardly anyone cares about the Constitution today, they just say they do to sound good. This is one more instance of it. And it was proposed by Buck McKeon, a Republican from CA.

Personally I think Obama's stance on Israel is outrageous. He has no business telling them to change their borders. But who's he support? The terror harboring Palestine. Israel fought a war they did not start back in the 60s and the end result was they increased their borders. Well, that's how it goes when you win a war.

Your estimation of taliban seems pretty high. According to Leon Panetta the Al Qaeda numbers only about 50 to 100, thus I doubt there are many more Taliban. Who knows what to believe though. Below is a video clip where he talks about Al Quaeda.

He has definitely angered his Jewish supporters. No president has ever done this to Israel. But I am not surprised at all. Obama seems to really have it in for them, not sure why other than he is a radical leftist. He sure knows how to piss off our allies.
