TweetGlad to hear it worked out for you
TweetSo, I go in, and he starts feeling around my back, and he says kinda like he was shocked, "WOW! Your hip is xxxxx centimeters higher than the left, and your xxxxxxx is inflamed!"
So I was kinda nervous and asked "Is that bad?"
He says "Nah. It's pretty common in runners."
WTF? He made me nervous as shlt!
So he hooks some electrical things to my muscles, and zaps them for 15-20 minutes. Sweet!
Then, he does some ultrasound waves for a few minutes. Nice.
Then, I lay on my side, and he adjusts me. Excellent!
I get up, and I'm in more fukkin pain than when I went in! LOL! He says "Yes, it will hurt a good bit for now. If not better by Friday, call me. If it's better, call me in 2 months if you want another adjustment."
That simple. He didnt tell me I had to come every week, which is what I was expecting. He said every 4 to 6 weeks is good to come for an adjustment if I wanted. If not, call him again if I had pain. $45 for 45 minutes! I was pretty happy! Can't run until Monday though

"You obviously can't compete at your fullest if you're not in alignment. And your body can't heal if your back is not in alignment. It was the holistic idea that I liked about chiropractic and that is what track and field is about. Every track and field athlete that I have ever met has seen a chiropractor at one time or another. TweetMakes me wanna go bk, havent been to the chiro in ab a yr. Feels sooo good gettin adjusted.
TweetA few years ago, I severely tore my rotator cuff benchin heavy for a contest. Was sitting in the surgeons office while he looked over the films of my shoulder. "Oh man, this is really bad. You need to schedule surgery as soon as possible." Will it ever heal on its own? "No possible way" Will I ever be able to do dips again? "No, you will NEVER be able to dips again"
Well, I never had the surgery my shoulder is now 95% healed and totally pain free. My shoulder never hurts and I can do full range dips. Thanks to chiropractic along with ART and nutrients that made my shoulder heal up. I know there are times when surgery is needed. No doubt about it. But my case did not need surgery. I will never forget how depressed I felt after that dr told me that. But I kept putting off the surgery and voila, my shoulder is fine now.
