      Im recently single in a relationship since I was 18 (24 now). I never got a myspace/facebook didnt wanna get one bc figured itd be nothing but trouble. My buddy is tellin me i need to get it and it is a great way of gettin laid. How many you guys use it and how successful has it been for ya? Ive lost touch with a lot of ppl from high school since i was doin the GF thing for years so the contacts are pretty empty these days. I refused to get one when we first broke up bc i was at my lowest weight since middle school (153.5#). I looked sickly i was so skinny so didnt want people to see me that havent seen me since i was 18, then 205# so totally different person. Im really on the fence about it but if it does really help i could use the help.

      Facebook can be a plus or a minus, it has turned toward the likes of myspace in a sense that a lot of ppl use it as a popularity contest, has it helped me get a piece of leg once or twice, yes! I am careful of what I post on there and only accept ppl I know and like and see in person on occation, I also live in a small town and word gets around and twisted very quick.

      I know of two couples that are having problems do to "hooks ups" from FB. That being said if not for face book it would have been some other means. Really if relationships are going down hill kinda hard to blame FB. I'm on there and see how it can be such a waste of time. I jump in and check to see if I have any email/messages. look at the front page and sign off. I hate it when some one tried to IM me when on there. O, i'm old as hell and really should not be on at all. I first signed up to help a business I was in. Since then I'm not doing that job but still have the account.

      My suggestion to you is get healthy and just start living your life again. Before long you will be seeing new people and you will have your groove back. Question: how did you get so skinny from dating?

      i know folks at the gym who are married and link up with past girlfreinds. not like they go out and get laid but still converse about old times which can lead to that. i know my wife would shoot me if i did that

      Well the GF was very anti BB in evry sense didnt like big size or the lifestyle. Dont know why she started with me at first tho being I was pretty damn big. However after a while lifting just wasnt fun anymore to me i totally lost the enjoyment. I was on/off with the gym for a couple years and took 1 solid year off. Thats how you lose 50#.

      Just go on facebook and if you see someone you like, just send her a "POKE". If she pokes you back, then she might be interested in you. It's easy to meet women on Facebook. It isnt for everyone, but it can work good for you. JUST DONT POKE A MARRIED WOMAN BY ACCIDENT.

      I am truly grateful for Facebook, for I have reconnected with so many great friends that I had when I was younger. I love catching up with all my friends, for goodness knows, with life so busy, no way I would know what's going on with them.

      I am married, and have had no issues whatsoever with that. My husband does not have a FB account, and frankly, it wouldn't matter to me if he did.

      I can absolutely see how FB could get couples in trouble, but I don't feel that is the case for everyone.

      Now, as far as just meeting people and hooking up, I have no opinion on that, I'm too old!
