Tweetya I'm somewhere around that...
TweetSeriously...I have never counted, but I am popping supplements all day...Im guess ing its about 50 tabs, gel caps, capsules that I take every day.
I take 12 Fish oil capsules a day, 15 chlorella tabs, 4 Juice Plus capsules, 2 NAC caps, 20 gms Glutamine, creatine,10 grams tyrosine, GABA, zinc, 6 turmeric capsules, D3 about 6-10,000 IU day, DHEA, vitamin E, B complex, 400 MG a day of CoQ10, selenium tab, a scoop of Perfect Food with blueberrys and Flax added, and I make sure I eat one Avocado a day and also 8 OZ a day of pomegranate juice..whew, I am sure theres something I forgot to list here.
Tweetdamn!
I used to take a few supps. I can't remember the last vitamin I had.
Ever since I saw a Dr talk about vitamins...sayin we get plenty in our diet, eating well of course. but dude's point was that vitamins could actually be harmful. And have really not shown to benefit as said. But, that's just 1 dude's point. I highly doubt they're harmful, & really don't give a shit these days. Everything is harmful one way or another...I give...that could be why I haven't hit the supps isle in yrs.
TweetHoly Moly Dzone!
I take one multi, 3 fish oil pills, 2 Vitamin C's, one teaspoon glutamine, 1 B Complex, 3 Glucosmine/MSM, 2 Bromelain pills, one Vitamin D pill, 1 anxiety pill and 1 sleeping pill! And a scoop of Jack3d before an intense workout. I think that's it!
TweetHey D that's alot of pills. When was the last time you had bloodwork done? Be interesting to see if anything, especially your liver, were a little wacky.
TweetI was at a Neuro-Nutrition seminar in Denver with one of the top experts in the field. He was all about supplements(and no, He was NOT trying to sell products). After that seminar is when I upped my EFAs to 3,000 mg a day. Things like Turmeric are proven to reduce inflammation and prevent cancer. The research is overwhelming in support of supplementing the diet with nutrients
TweetIve had blood work and everything was normal and I have been taking this stuff for years. I forgot to say that I take Milk Thistle a few days per week for liver function.
TweetI aint got sh*t on you dzone, only take 14 pills a day.
TweetPS- another thing I learned at that seminar is that most multiple vitamin pills have too much Copper and Iron in them. People can get toxic levels of those two things and Vitamin manufacturers will prob start making Copper and Iron free multi Vitamins...The Copper problem is from municipal water coming into your house via Copper pipes.
TweetMost good mens multis are iron free. Use a water filter to get rid of excess copper (and other things). I use a simple Brita filter for all my drinking water.
Tweet2 Kre-Alkalyn , 2 CLA , 1-2 Fatburner before work, Sometimes 1 Mobic for inflamation, 5 Huma Pro in the a.m. 5 Huma Pro in the afternoon. 4 D-bol, 1 scoop Bullnox before workout , 1 scoop N'Gage during workout or after. Protein throughout the day.
TweetGood news and good info D. Sounds like your on top of this stuff. Gonna look into some of your supps to incorporate with my own.
TweetI take four non nucleoside and two nucleoside protease inhibitors, one fish and one flax oil pills, vitamin C, vitamin D, B-complex, coQ10, zinc, and a coupla multi mens in a day. I used to take maby fourteen protease inhibitors a few years back, talk about toxic I was allways just sick as a dog and lethargic. im going to start adding a few more things soon like chineese herbs astragulis, mitake ect.
