COMPUTER HELP..can't connect!

I can't connect the the internet on my desktop!
When I go to the network connection page it has the yellow exclamation point and the red x. I can't figure out how to fix it.

TweetIm at home. I am connected through netgear usb picking up my belkin router.
IPCONFIG won't work.
And I tried a system restore but it says it was unsuccessful??...cpu was working fine yesterday morning.

TweetAre you new to using this router? I ask because, I also connect thru netgear usb using a belkin router, and I have had a ton of problems keeping a connection lately.
