TweetI have two, they rule the house! lol
TweetAnd your cat talks to you. I swear its so cool to hear my cat meow when I would pet her or give her treats when I get up in the morning. My cat knows I'm a sucker for giving her treats because everytime I go into the kitchen she follows me and sits by her food bowl its so funny. And when I pet her and say I love you she says it back, lol

TweetEsteban, my 17 years-old cat, had to be put down last year. He was a great talker lol, waiting for me and kinda asking "how was your day?".

Tweeti have 5 cats each one thinks its human
TweetWe rescued 2 cats last year from a shelter in Philly. They are part Siamese. So they talk all the freakin time!! It's cool for the most part. However, I have spoiled them by feeding them every morning at 5:00am, which is the time I go out running. But God forbid I sleep in a little later. They stand at my bedroom door and yell.

Tweeti LOVE cats ....more of a cat person than dog person. maine coons are awesome!!!!
TweetI used to like cats, thought they were cool, low-maintenance and no-mess pets. So when we talked about getting a pet, a cat seemed like a good option. One day, my wife brought one home from work - said someone left a litter of 8 or so in a box outside the door at her school, and of course a few of the teachers and students decided to take one home. I agreed to keep it. My wife had a cat years ago, and said they were no problem. Well, kitty was a little aggressive with his play - he constantly stalked me and attacked my feet. It was cute, but it got old quickly. The vet said it was normal, especially for the common gray/black american shorthair variety. We took her recommendation to adopt a second cat to be his playmate, and divert his attention and energy elsewhere. It worked, but then they started playing - running all around the house chasing each other, up and down the leather furniture and curtains, across the table tops, of course over the wood floors . . . they were shredding everything. And then there was the intentional scratching of the upholstered dining room chairs' seats, and biting/chewing on the corners of those same leather chairs and couch in our family room, and the biting/shredding the curtains, the woodwork . . . wow, they were destructive little shits! And always getting into things too. It calmed down a little as they got older, but never really stopped - same as the aggressive behavior toward our feet, hands, hair (when we sat on the couch), etc. But the worst part was the litter. I had no idea how bad that stupid litter box could smell - and two cats made it unbearable. Even if I changed it every day, the room where the litter box was always smelled like shit. There was no good place to put it, and by default it went into the basement laundry room. The whole basement smelled if I missed a day. And the hair was out of control. They managed to chew and climb into the stored boxes of clothes and other stuff we kept down there - we had cat hair everywhere, inside and out of every space. Hard wood floors in my old house just made it look even worse. Eventually, my youngest began to develop an allergy - and I was not too sad about having to evict the cats. I would have just put them outside, and kept them as outdoor cats, but my stupid ass decided to have the front claws removed on both of them just a couple months before. So . . . I am not a big fan of cats. But if your a cat lover, have at it guys!

Tweetmy dog wa inches from having a cat once. That cat was chillin by the a/c unit outside when I let my dog out. He saw the cat immediately and it was on. That cat was cuttin like Emmit Smith back and forth, and that ig-ole dog was stickin right on it's behind by inches. That cat only got about 6", at most. The cat zigged and zagged 3 times working his way closer to the fence, and just before Crash got him by the tail end, the cat leaped, 1 6ft leap to the top of the privacy fence and tight roped it in high gear almost falling off a couple times til he jumped to the other side.
Our cat ran away, or got stole. I think someone stole her because every cat person that saw her thought she was some kind-of expensive breed. Way expensive. She was cool. I really liked that cat.
TweetI don't remember the brand Fuzo. We got the stuff at target- that's all i can remember. I think I am just less tolerant of pet-related issues and respnsibilities. The cats we had were not really bad cats, just regular cats behaving as they normally do (so I was told). But I had no pets except fish when I grew up. My Parents finally got a dog when I was a senior in HS - I lived with him for less than a year before I moved out. That is probably part of it. I still don't really hate cats (but I usually tell people that I do, LOL), I just don't want to own one. Some day maybe I'll get a dog for my family, but not any time soon. Too much instability and unknowns right now, and probably for the next few years . . . but one day I'll take another stab at the pet thing.
