TweetAnybody else ever go to auctions? I go every other week. I really dig antiques and I like that things back in the day were made to last and made out of quality materials. I also think that if you're going to buy something, it's better to buy something that's worth money and will increase in value instead of buying junk. Plus at auctions you can get things really under market value. Plus if it's something you don't really want that you can get for cheap you can sell it for a profit. I'm getting the itch for this coming Saturday for the next auction.

TweetIts been years since I've been to one but I sure would like to go again. I agree with you on all the reasons to buy antiques. My only problem is my job has me traveling full time so I am never home long enough to think about decorating. I've been living out of a hotel for the last 2 years, but home on the weekends.

I've gone to house foreclosure auctions or Sheriff Sales. They're listed at the county clerks office. Problem is your bidding against the bank that holds the mortgage, other investors, must put down 50% cash if win, other 505 in 10 days and there may be folks currently living there that you must have vacated.
