Because almost everything done/passed over the last century in-a-half has been the opposite of The Republic our ancestors once enjoyed. But it's been fine with everybody because all the bs leftist regulation and laws have been, and always will be, wrapped in a nice propaganda package so the people think it's the correct thing to do. "Yeah...Get that under control." wrong. American citizens and government control don't belong in the same equation.

America needs to get this one right. Then keep moving back towards our founding father's ways of freedom. If you buy into that bs line that the Constitution is an out-dated document. You've bought what the communists are offering.

Let's, at least, get those that represent that donkey out of the picture. Send 'em packing on their donkeys. or Nancy P. or however they get around.haaa. Then, the fake ass republicans, that don't represent, need to be weeded out.

That is one of the reasons that led me to study politics more. I found that my views are aligned with the Libertarian Party; the views that represent true freedom and the constitution; and I lean towards anarcho-capitalism. I have no trust in governments since they only strive to take away freedoms. Every law passed represents the exact amount of freedom retracted. I downloaded an app on my Droid called Congress that gives me live updates on new laws that are introduced and passed. It is a darn shame that there are several laws proposed or passed almost every day. Governments feel that they aren't doing their jobs if they don't find new legislation to pass, thus everyone in the Congress and Senate are constantly thinking of new laws to propose. This is the exact opposite of what the founders wanted and goes against freedom. I believe in free markets, but unfortunately we have not experienced a true free market ever. This is because a market is not free if government exists. People confuse capitalism with the free market concept, yet it is anything but a free market. As long as the government exists to impose regulations and laws we will not have a free market. However, we could work to have as close to a free market as possible with a government in place. This would require less regulation and no lobbying groups. People hate big business and blame it on capitalism or the free market but it is government that has made big business so unattractive. Monopolies exist and people blame them on capitalism, however the fact is a monopoly cannot exist without government intervention and favoritism. The government grants special privileges to big business according to how much money they contribute to their campaigns. Then they implement regulations that hamper smaller businesses and other competitors of the businesses they favor. This results in a monopoly or oligopolies. People seldom understand this and most don't but it is a fact. Without government intervention a monopoly cannot exist. If anyone doubt this then do your homework and determine how companies grow so large and you will find that there has always been favors extended to the big businesses. The government can make any business successful if they so desire. For instance, General Electric is in cahoots with Obama, thus they are receiving federal contributions to further implement their green technology and they have been awarded several large contracts to continue their green agenda for the government. But there are other companies with similar technologies or the means to develop those technologies, yet they will not have the chance because the government spoke and GE is the winner. The same went on with the railroads in the 1800s and banks still to this day.

The system is flawed in the politicians' favor. We have a worthless 2 party system that can and will only lead to eventual rule by dictator. Totalitarianism is the end result of all democracies. Europe is hastily moving toward that end and we are sure to follow. The right person to vote for is the person who best represents your views. However, if that person is on a 3rd party ballot you have no real chance. But I will still vote for the person who represents what I believe in regardless of the two party system, except when such a candidate doesn't exist, and then I will vote for the Republican even though they are taking us on the same path but at a slower pace. So long as people don't understand this critical reality, we are doomed and our future is destined to be that of totalitarian rule. Most people claim that remarks like I am making are fear mongering and could never happen in America. My response is to wake up and look around. We are in the final stage of a path to dictatorship. Unfortunately, too many people are too blind to see that and instead trust in the party they belong to as if the party really cares about their rights or the country for that matter. America is in serious trouble, both financially and politically. That's my 2 cents anyways and I hope it doesn't come true, but I have just about lost my confidence our citizens to make the right decisions. Furthermore, I'm not so sure the voting isn't rigged. Who would ever know, it only takes a simple computer program to flip the vote in favor of whatever candidate they want to win. The technology already exists and has appeared in court as evidence for a voter fraud trial. If it was used once who's to say it hasn't been used many times.

I'm delighted to know there are people that want to hear the truth. Everyone's input is greatly appreciated and I extend my thanks to all of you that engage in our political discussions. I know I come off as very serious and sometimes can seem pessimistic, but that's because the issues our country faces are serious and for the most part unsettling at best. I am a proud American like the rest of you. I don't want to believe that all of these things I talk about are true, but the fact is they are. We are all living history at its most dangerous chapter; and it is our generation that is tasked with protecting our liberties from those who want to take them away. Sadly, those who want to strip our liberties from us are from within (Lincoln spoke of this). The political elite has been working in stealth for many decades, but the veil has been removed by those in office at present, exposing their real agenda for all to see.

The most dangerous man in power besides the President is Cass Sunstein. For those who are not aware of this man, look him up. He is the President's regulatory czar. He does not believe in the constitution and has written many books and journals concerning his radical views which include, After the Rights Revolution: Reconceiving the Regulatory State, The Second Bill of Rights: FDR's Unfinished Revolution and Why We Need it Now More Than Ever, Democracy and The Problem of Free Speech, The Laws of Fear, Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Hapiness, The Cost of Rights, The Partial Constitution, One Case at a Time: Judicial Minimalism on the Supreme Court, Why Societies Need Dissent, and many others. This man is the most evil person in the administration, and possibly the world as far as I'm concerned, and low and behold he is a former teacher at the University of Chicago, where all of the other cronies who seek to destroy our country came from. This man intends to destroy the first and second amendment. In an interview he explained how he considers guns unsafe and with a government health care system he plans to tax gun owners' health care plans. He also has been the one talking about regulating the internet (aka Net Neutrality), and he has the full power to do so with the exception of the Supreme Court which is becoming more and more liberal these days. He discussed recently the idea of taxing people's opinions if they are anti global warming. Basically, you would be asked for your views on climate change and if not in alignment with the administrations you would be taxed for it. He wants to implement pop-ups on website blogs and other political sites that offer conservative views. Essentially, if you read a conservative view a pop-up with a liberal perspective would have to be implemented to equal out the discussion and give the reader the chance to hear both sides. He is against freedom of speech in every aspect except left wing speech. He adamantly opposes gun rights and hates the constitution. This is all fact, look it up. I've watched the interviews and read up on this guy thoroughly. These are the kind of people our pathetic president has put in positions of power. This is just one reason why I fear for the future of our country. Can anyone imagine why a person with the views Cass Sunstein holds would be appointed to a powerful position if that person who appointed him did not have a hatred for America?

I believe that there is a very big chance that this president will attempt to do the same things Hugo Chavez did in Venezuela. His aim is to become a dictator is my best guess. I hope I am wrong but he has done a lot of bad things over the last year. Those who support him are mostly naive at best and un-American at worst. How many radicals have to be put in positions of power before the American people will wake up. Sure the polls are showing the president and congress losing support, but polls don't matter when you have a president for 3 more years who disregards the constitution. On top of it all, we are hell bent on a path to end up like Greece, but most people don't believe that could ever happen here. Why couldn't it? Why would we be exempt from the laws of economics?

Everybody just looked the other way and now she is a supreme court justice. We are placing this country in the hands of its enemies. Its very disturbing and at times, hard to watch.

I'm glad to hear some people like hearing what I have to say. I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but I have a blog and website of my own, which is where I do most of my writing and all of which is more thought out and backed up with sources. I spend several hours each day researching, reading, and writing with regard to politics, history, and economics. Thus, you could say it is essentially a second job to me, yet one I enjoy immensely.

As for Cass Sunstein, Sonia Sotomayor, and the other radicals in this administration, it is tragic that most people are not aware of their backgrounds. Sonia Sotomayor is and has always been a radical. Her association with La Raza should have prevented her from becoming a Supreme Court judge, but that's the kind of representation we can expect from the Republicans (voted overwhelmingly for her). I have hammered down on this for years, that the Republicans are nearly the same as the Democrats. They use talking points to try and convince us that they care, yet in the end they comply with just about everything the Democrats want. The current Supreme Court nomination has been given to another radical and I'm certain she will be seated. Elena Kagan is her name and she is even more radical then Sotomayor if you can believe that. She wrote her college thesis in law school in favor of socialism, and explained how she hoped it would prevail in the United States some day. However, regardless of these two women becoming Supreme Court judges, Cass Sunstein is still the most dangerous person in the administration. Read up on him and you will realize that he is the epitome of a Marxist. The man does not believe in the freedom of speech or gun rights, and has written about a new Bill of Rights which excludes gun rights.

Here's the simple truth for those who don't have a clue as to the danger we face. Once the Supreme Court is filled with a majority of left wing judges with Marxist tendencies, America is over as we know it. The reason is that the Supreme Court has the ultimate say in preserving our government's checks and balances. But when the liberal leftists dominate the Court, there will be no more fair rulings based off of the Constitution because they can interpret the law and Constitution as they see fit. The most recent two appointments are not going to tip the Court because they are merely replacing leftist judges. However, they are more radical than their predecessors which will prove true in their future rulings. But what does matter is who will replace the next ones that retire. If anyone else steps down during the Obama Administration then they will be replaced by another radical and the Court will be majority radicals. Right now it is fairly balanced but those who are conservatives are mostly nearing retirement age or death. These appointments are for life, which is ridiculous and should have never been written that way in our Constitution but it is and we have to live with it. With that said, the next appointments will decide the fate of our country for the next 30 to 40 years. This is why it is so critical that we don't appoint radicals. What's really pathetic is that George Bush Sr appointed the leftist that Sotomayor replaced, and George W. Bush tried to seat one as well. Thus, proving my point once again that the Republicans are no different than the Democrats in many cases. Republican voters for some odd reason actually believe that an R by a person's name means they are a true conservative and will look out for our best interests, yet that is anything but true. A true conservative in these times should be on the Constitution Party, not the Republican party imo.

A Republican is one who favors a republic as the best form of government. The Constitution was based on republicanism. Republicanism is the belief in absolute individual right and liberty. The word 'party' doesn't even fit after 'Republican'. really.

This is true. I do want to point out though that my views are in line with most of the Republican voters' views with the exception of a few. My point is that the Republican Party no longer represents the Constitution in many cases and thus has abandoned its party. But most voters are not aware of all the laws that are passed and which ones the Republicans support, thus the party continues to get away with increasing the size of the government.
