That new SHO is a heck of a grocery getter. Good lookin car. Nice interior. The voice controlled Sync system by Microsoft that Ford's have is nice. That new Taurus is a badass sedan. Smooth ride with a twin-turbo V6 cranking out 365hp and 350ft/lbs torque. All wheel drive. 6speed automatic, which is kickass. It must have a sling-shot type of pull being able to stay in the powerband throughout those gears. You also have paddle shifters on the column that sit at the top sides of the steering wheel.
The Taurus SHO is badass. Let me find a pic of it, and see if I can find a shot of the interior too.

That's where the problem lies right there. Once you adjust the audio setting/eq, you'll be jammin.
No, lol I have the treble cranked up all the way and the b a s s about mid range and still very b a s s y. How much is the SHO?? Ill do a search and find out and id like to see the back end. Ill play around with it later tonite. Some guy in a "Ford" truck hit me today and took off. Couldnt get the plate # tho, prob a $200 if i can get this guy to do it for me.

Yeah. It's $37K brand new off the showroom floor, but search the net, e.g. autotrader, etc...and you can, and will, find one with just a few thousand miles...maybe 7k, 10k, whatever. basically a brand new ride. Factory bumber to bumber warranty for around $25K, maybe a few thousand less even. And you'll have one fine, pretty much brand new SHO for a steal. Look for a "factory buy-back". These are vehicles that have been bought back buy Ford motorcompany because the person that bought it keeps complaining about something. Ford buys the vehicle back from the individual. Hauls it back to the factory, and runs it through the assembly line and Quality Control to see if anything is actually wrong with the vehicle or if it's perfectly fine. You'll only find it for sale if it's perfectly fine for the consumer. That's what my F150 was. I found it at Covington Ford, just outside of Atlanta for $18,600. The book was still $25k. You get an excellent buy on these vehicles because they return to the Ford lot and Ford lets them go for great deal. I've had another friend purchase a Cobra this way. It was an excellent car.
What people do is buy the vehicle. Realize they can't really afford it, and they can't sell it fast enough. They're hip to Ford's buy back system so they keep bringing the vehicle in for bogus reasons until Ford finally just purchases it back from them. This way they loose no money trying to sell a vehicle that they got in above their head on.
You'll get to see the report of every complaint, and what Ford did in attempt to duplicate the problem, and even replace things when they couldn't duplicate it on a few ocassions, like with my truck. You'll be able to tell it's bullshit reasons that someone's complaining about when you read the report. If it's on the Ford lot for resell, you have nothing to be concerned about. The car has been over, by the Ford factory, with a fine toothed comb, and received the stamp of approval.
"Factory Buy-Backs"= great Fords for great deals. I got a $32k truck for $18,600.
Check it out if you really like the car. Go drive one, and I think you'll enjoy it.

Also, when you purchase a factory-buy-back, it's just like you buy it brand new. The warranty, any service agreements, etc...that came with the vehicle new are zeroed back out. Just as if you're the first buyer, and as if it were at 0miles.

If it's for sale on the lot, they'll sell it to you. A sell's a sell. They wouldn't have listed my truck on Autotrader if they didn't want to sell it.
I guess they could see some people coming, like a good looking female, then stereotype the consumer and try to move them on something pricier. If you run across "that guy", just tell him what you came for. When I found my truck online. I called. Had the report faxed to me after the salesman read it to me. That price was, of course, the price that truck was going to leave the lot for, so I went to the bank. Got my check. The lending agent even said, "wow. you already have equity in this vehicle. That never happens." I grabbed a rental car. Drove a couple hundred miles to the lot. They had my truck ready for me, and that was that.

Plug in the car you want on Autotrader. Select 300miles...whatever...I'll drive a few hundred miles to save $15,000. But, plug in exactly what you want in the advanced search on Autotrader.com within 'so many' miles, and see what you find. I'm sure you'll find a deal worth your time.
Good luck! Happy shopping! a new ride...always a good thing.
