yea...thats the hard part about selling your car yourself. its really hard when they are more expensive cars...unless your willing to let someone steal it, its hard to find people that are willing to go throu and get their own loan...and there's not a ton of bank accounts beaming with extra cash. then, on top of that, you have to be willing to open your house or work place to any flake that wants to pretend to be able to afford your car. then...add in the added liability for test driving and you got a whole different can of worms

Good looking car. I saw a black 370 a couple weeks ago that had a killer looking nose on it. I don't know if it was some special "hot" model from the factory or if the guy put it on, but it looked good. It dropped pretty low and had big vents for the brakes on the corners. Have to admit. It looked pretty tough.
I'm with Dave on the import thing. It's gotta be Japanese if it has 2 wheels, and American with 4. But I do agree that the Z is, and has been, a good run for Nissan. Datsun back in the day.

Thanks guys for at at least knowin a good thing when you see it haha! It is built really well, and i like their voice command system and Bose stereo system, but so little room in it that you dont get the good treble that the system can deliver. I was thinkin about puttin the...its Eddie Van Halen's brother..he has a receiver out that has software that conforms to your particular VIN# so it is has custom applications to meet your specific vehicle. have you heard of it? Anyway, yeah Daved..you sound like your not too very far from me...I was actually lookin for demos or someone that might have pulled out of a lease, but so far no luck. All i can find are 2010's, but they are not very pricey..around $20k loaded. Seem pretty fast too for a 2.5 liter. I think they are 268hp turbo charged.

Treble is directonal. Some of the aftermarket "tweeters" are on a ball-swivel now-days. You can aim them in your direction.
My aunt had a silver 350 a few years ago. The stereo rocked in it. I can't remember if it had components instead of 2 or 3-ways. I would imagine so, being Bose. Does it have true component speakers?

components instead of 2-way or 3-way speakers.
Components have a much better sound quality than 2-way speakers.
Component systems have the tweeter separate from the driver for the door speakers. For instance, you'll just have a 6.5" mid in your lower door panel, and the tweeter (very small speaker) up in the top corner, or on the corner of your dash. This way you get the highs/treble positioned so you can hear it better. B@ss is non directional, so woofers and sub-woofers can be faced any direction and you get it loud and clear. Sub-woofers are best at the furthest distance in a car because the low tones develope over an 8ft span. You can make up for this by facing subs towards the rear in an SUV, or in a band-pass enclosure...trunk, etc... Band-pass boxes give the effect of a well placed sub in the box itself.
Now to 2/3-way speakers. These are the speakers that have the driver and tweeters mounted in the same speakers. An all-in-one thing. Most cars have these for door speakers. While this is okay, when you go from a 2 or 3-way speaker to a component system, the sound quality is much better with components. You don't have speakers interfering with one another, and the tweeters are able to be placed closer to ear level for the treble to be heard more clearly.

Okay. I just did some quick research on the 350-370 sound system. Your gripe was echoed a few times. You must have the Touring upgrade package. This is the Bose. And your car does have components, as I figured. You should be able to accomplish pretty darn decent sound quality out of it. One article I read mentioned the problem lies with the head-unit. It stated that the factory head unit just doesn't have the power to push the speakers well enough. It said to simply replace the head-unit with an amplified head-unit and you'll get that full, rich sound. Another mentioned replacing the factory speakers with higher end components, as well as more power.

You might want to read up on it and make that one of your projects. Get the system pushing the sounds you enjoy. Bose isn't what it used to be 20yrs ago. Especially in car audio. You have JL Audio, MB Quart, JBL, Alpine is still tops, and Pioneer has took the top prize here the last few years. Pioneer is producing excellent sound. Alpine and JL Audio are hard to beat though.
Just incase you haven't played with the audio settings too much. Turn the treble all the way up. Bring your mids down to just a little above -0-. If you have a 5 or 7 band equalizer, drop your middle three down close to zero in a slight (V) shape. If you can see your eq bars, that's what you want to do. Make a (v). If it's a 5,7, or higher band eq, you'll want to bring your sub-****, over on the far left, just 2 or 3 notches from the top. The next one over, you might want to top out. Just see what you think. But take your treble, the one all the way to the left, and crank it to the top. The drop the mids close to zero, a notch or 2 above for the very middle. Then bring the one to the left of the exact middle closer higher toward the top because that's your mid-treble.
Just tinker around with that and see if you can get it sounding better for ya.
You have a sub-woofer right above or below your spare tire in the back, so it'll pump the low **** for ya. That far left eq controls those tones. So give that a try and let me know how it goes.

Yeah, it has speakers (tweeters) in the doors and the larger in the back. I think there are like 6-9 speakers in it. dont get me wrong, it sounds really good, but i like more treble.

Those "lefts" are supposed to be "rights". The treble is to the far right. Crank it all the way up. Then crank the one next to it about a notch or 2 lower. But drop your mids, (middle of eq also), almost flat. Just a notch a 2 above. You might even want the mids a notch below zero. Too much mid will make the mids sound like they're coming from a metal can, or tube. But, just incase you haven't tweaked your audio settings. Play around with them how I explained, and you'll get more treble.

I havent been in them other than settin up my bluetooth, being i just upgraded my cell..Kinda a pain just doin that. I was tryin to adjust it in the late fall, but nothin really worked. I think it just has a really strong ****, but ill tinker around with it some more this wk when i have some time. Thanks Horsepwer! Still dont know what to do about the car thing. I dont know about the Mazda..might get tired of it. The saleswoman said it really doesnt drive that smooth, nor as smooth as an Accord, and i already have a bumpy sport car. I want a smooth ride. I cont find anything near that price range tho.

oh yeah. There's your solution right there. The treble is probably zero. Crank it all the way up. It only takes a few seconds.

I remember my aunt's 350 rockin out. I was wondering how much of a system you must be used to cause those things put out pretty good compared to the average factory system.
That's where the problem lies right there. Once you adjust the audio setting/eq, you'll be jammin.
