I've recently been reading up on the Marlin 1894. .44 Mag/Special, 20" barrel, lever action.
Anyone own, or have experience with this rifle?

Have one. Bought it from a Pawn Shop at next to nothing.
Brought it home and cleaned it, good as new.
Excellent rifle, range is not that good.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!

I really like the angle of the stock of lever action rifles. It drops more, the stock, so it raises the line of sight.

Thanks for the replies. Glad to hear good reports. I've heard the 45/70 is badass.
