OMG! inside an airplane obviously?..I would have issues keeping calm. They would have to open the doors and let me just atleast get a breath of fresh air. Even though it's hot outside, I would gasp like coming up for air.

Not sure anymore what state that was in.
But I would be willing to bet some of the places I've passed through were peaking in the 110's

In south Carolina that summer, I remember the truck thermometer reading 110 as I was sitting under a shade tree drawing on the computer, and that song "110 in the shade" was playing on the radio.
Damn was it hot up there! And dry. I'm used to a slightly cooler breeze, even in August, but not inland SC. It was like a hot hair-dryer. ugh...
Then I spent 8 months in the Mississippi Delta, where the blues was born. but the guy that ran meters for me kept talking about the MS heat, and "just wait"...but it was the coolest summer they ever had. thank god. I always would screw with him and say "bullshyt, it doesn't get hot here". He hated that. He would sing all the songs that mention MS heat. There are allot of 'em. I'm just glad I didn't get to witness it.

The outside temp was 110˚F. I have no idea how hot it got inside the plane, but it felt every bit of that an more. The plane was full. The pilots are required to turn the engines off while waiting like that which means no a/c. He would turn the engines on occasionally to give us some air. It was awful... stuffy, hot... Yes, I felt trapped.

My buddy who just got back from Iraq said he had to unload a 18 wheeler's trailer when it was ridiculously hot like that. The $hit you don't think about that guys do over there.

TweetWe chartered a big fishing boat off the outerbanks one year for some tuna. Must be over 110 with the sun shooting off the water. thank god there was an air conditioned cabin cause we were out drinkin till 3am and had to be on the boat by 7. did catch our fill of tuna though. Caught so many that we had to come in early cause the boat bin was full. Came back with 120 steaks
