      be great if someone needed him. to tell the truth, i got prob's with recess lighting in my basement...i would def. have you come out to fix....you ever get to michigan? lol...i have been told, with recess cans, it's probobly the ground wires...i dont know

      recessed can lights have a thermal protector it could have been overheated...there are also dif types of can lights depending on if you have insulation in contact with the light or not. installing the wrong type could overheat the thermal protectors or even poss cause a fire... the ground is actually just a safety for the user of the light or power tool appliance....most anything will run fine without the ground if the hot and neutral is hooked up properly....but the person is at risk without the ground if it is not proper

      I have an electric well pump that runs off a buried line...I think I chopped it in half with a shovel while planting a tree...ok, I know, no comments from the peanut gallery...lol
