TweetSo my ex jackass is paying me $226 a month for 3 children. And he thinks thats ok. Yep - that was right - $226 for all 3 kids - not per kid - total. Any thoughts??

TweetQuirk, sorry to hear that. Thats absurd. Just wondering how he is getting away with that. Surely no judge is going to give him such a break. Hope not. This seems to happen a lot. Dudes skating away from his responsibilities. Sounds like he is putting his own selfishness and greed above the welfare of his kids. Dont get me started on selfishness and greed!!! Good luck with all that quirk
TweetWe go back to court on the 27th. You should have seen his ****ing smug ass face when he gave me the check. Oh and hes supposed to have the kids this weekend but wants to go to the nascar race in Bristol.....now suddenly his back is hurting and he cant take them. All I have to say is karma is a *****!
Tweetwhat an a$$!!!!
TweetISNT THAT BASED ON HIS INCOME????
I did 750 per month for ONE!
Check into it!!!!
Tweetwhen you go back to court make sure you bring this up the judge can increase the amount he as to pay but it is based off of his income so if he is a broke ass loser u are just stuck.
TweetMY WIFE GETS $450 FOR ONE CHILD...YOUR GETTING RIPPED!~
BUT LIKE JAMES SAID, ITS BASED OFF HIS INCOME. SO IF HE MAKES NOTHING - YOU GET NOTHING
Tweeti pay 300 for one... when u go back.. let them know or have ur lawyer ask for a copy of his previous years w-2....or a couple recent pay check stubs... thats what id do..good luck
TweetThat's crazy! Good luck with the courts. Hopefully you'll be able to get more from him.
TweetI pay 215/week for one. And we agreed on that. They could have taken more. You are getting screwed....but like the rest of the board said....If you have a child with someone and they end up broke, jobless, or somewhere in between....you get screwed

TweetYea, and they wanted to take more. The state of Pennsylvania is a motherf**ker. We finally agreed on 215/ week. It sucks but I do ok without it. The thing that bothers me the most is not the amount, but where the money is actually going.
My daughter is twelve and I know she doesnt see a dime of it because she tells me. I understand household bills come into play but, she has 3 other children. I know Im getting screwed in some sense but try to look at it as me doing the right thing instead of "poor me".
It does however make me angry that Im paying that much for one child and we are talking about people paying a quarter of that for three.

TweetI feel for you Quirky. My current ex (and almost ex-friend) has 4 kids. To my knowledge, she gets support for her 2 youngest (both have the same dad). Her oldest is 18 and his dad has paid nothing all of his life. Her 2nd one is 17 but if she's getting support from his dad, it's all going to her mom since he lives in New Orleans with her.
Long story short.....Back in 1987, I met a woman at a doughnut shop (favorite cop hangout...LOL) down the block from my part time job. At first, she hated me only because I was a spitting image of her baby's daddy. We began dating and when I saw her beautiful 3 year old girl, I swear she truly looked like she could be mine for sure. Well, the woman and I split up after a year but we stayed friends. One evening, as I was working in auto theft, we spoke on the phone and she was upset because she couldn't get the dead beat to pay any child support. So I used my computer skills to get her the information that she needed and in six months, $1200 was deducted from his income tax refund for child support. She was extremely grateful to me and, of course, he called her a few outspoken names.
