TweetDon't do that Fit. A good aggressive but civil debate on politics is healthy for all. Just remember that not everyone has the same views. I know I'm to the right, but lve the debate with a liberal. Just because we disagree on politics dosen't mean we can't walk away as friends with a healthy respect for each other.

I agree with you. However, this is a fitness board. I'm over at Politico.com, I'll get my fix there.
TweetIs that board an invitation only or can anyone join?

Tweethuh, I've learned some very helpful knowledge in this forum. Politics are similar to religion in that people that believe in them feel as if that's what they're made of, or who they are...their identity. Being that politics are the foundation of some folks' lives, heated debate results in discussion. It's nothing to loose friends over. Heated debate shouldn't get to a personal level. well...debating politics gets on a personal level at times. That's all there is to it. And that's fine, so long as good couth and etiquette are maintained there should be no love lost. Sometimes there's alot to learn in disagreements.
But you gotta do what you gotta do.
