Tweetwhat is holding you back from straightening, joints, tendons, muscles?
TweetWhen I sit on my legs and feet in the floor, I don't feel anything hurt or anything like that. But when I get up and try to straighten my legs out it hurts bad and I can barely straighten them out at first!!!! What do you guys think is the problem? Circulation or what? What can I do to remedy this?

TweetThat is a good question....if I had to say, I would say it was tendons or ligaments. I am fairly certain its not joints. It is right in the bend directly behind my knee. It just gets a really tight feeling and has to be slowly stretched out.

TweetI guess that could be a possibility. Is there anything that I should do? Or could it be something else? I know you guys aren't doctors, I just thought some of you make have experienced the same thing.

TweetSometimes not taking in enough water can have adverse affects on several body parts including tendons, ligaments and muscles. Its not to the point of dehydration however, as everyone is different, could be affecting you.
I take liquid glucosamine with msn to help in all joint areas. possibly try that
TweetThat could be the problem. I have gotten out fo drinking much water for a while now. I will try that first and maybe look into some joint supps or something. I bet its my water intake though.

TweetNope...no swelling. And the only time that I feel this pain or tightness is after I have sat in the floor on my legs for a little while. It is not something that bothers me constantly.

TweetThis may sound strange but, try stretching obviously and step on a tennis ball and forcefully roll it around on your foot for a minute or so. It should be almost painfull to do.then switch feet. You'd be amazed at the problems we have cuz of foot problems. just a thought
Tweetdude i get the same thing i have always just attributed it to having to much weight sitting on my legs but i know what you mean. i just stretch it out and then go on about my day i have had this problem for as long as i can remember and im not that old
Tweet
That's what I do. I just stand up and stretch it out and go about my business. Like I said, its not something that just hangs around and bothers me. It just lasts a minute at the most. I was just curious. I am 30 and have always been active so I don't figure I should be having these things going on because of age.
