TweetCut back? hell no, why should we? Every dollar we spend enriches the economy and makes some republican loving wall street CEO richer..lmao...
TweetI took it back to my college days and eat only Oodles O' Noodles.
Seriously, we don't eat out as much (maybe twice per month as opposed to twice a week), I don't drive anywhere, and now my wife cuts coupons.
TweetWe're making three house payments since our houses won't sell. That plus my commute double and increase in gas prices doesn't leave me with any extra spending money. Yes, I've had to cut all extras. Depending on what they decided about my job... I won't be spending anything on Christmas this year either. I'm usually done with my Christmas shopping by now, and I haven't even started.
I cut coupons too. We don't eat out near as much as we use too. I usually try to go see my parents once a month, but now we go several months without visiting them. There have been times I've had to skip refilling my medicines because I was out of money. For now it's just paycheck to paycheck.
Tweetdamn dixie it sounds liek things are really hiiting you hard i hope you guys have some luck selling your houses as im sure thats really were most the stress is coming form i mean hell it's hard enought o make 1 house payment i couldn't imagine 3
TweetThanks... the good news is that my hubby landed three new contracts a couple of weeks ago. This will keep his business going for several months. If we keep the belt tight and my job doesn't get cut, we might even make it through the winter. So... I don't plan on doing any extra spending until a house sells.
We would have been fine if our houses had sold. They have been on the market now for 1yr and 10 months. I've dropped the price on my from $135K to $125K already. His was appraised at $265K and he's asking $199K. It sits on top of the ridge and looks over the valley with mountains in the background... awesome view! 3,000 sf!
TweetEverything's about the same with me, just tryin to stick a little back here and there.
