Senator Obama’s speeches, books, and life story are little more than falsehoods, fraud, and fantasy, so a cynic might say that he is qualified to be president! He doesn’t seem to believe that a half-truth is a whole lie.

Obama reveals in his book, Dreams from my Father that for two years he attended a Muslim school in Indonesia: "In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell my mother that I made faces during Koranic studies." Therefore, Obama, known at the time as Barry, admitted that he went to a Muslim school; however, CNN debunked the part about it being a radical madrassa school funded by extremists from Saudi Arabia. (Furthermore, it is not true that he took his oath of office on the Koran.) While living in Indonesia from age 6 to 10, he attended a Catholic school two years in addition to two years in a Muslim school.

Whether or not Obama was, is, or will become a Muslim is hotly contested. His campaign on Jan. 24, 2007 said, “To be clear, Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ in Chicago.” Well, that is a clear statement but it is a misleading statement.

The Los Angeles Times, in its March 14, 2007 issue reported that Obama was a registered Muslim and attended weekly religious instruction in the Koran. Now his campaign is saying that he has never been a “practicing” Muslim. Let’s see, on Jan. 24 the story from his campaign was that he had never been a Muslim and he was not raised a Muslim, but now, it is that he has never been a practicing Muslim. It all depends on what the meaning “is” is!

Trying to take the heat off her brother, Obama’s sister says that the family only went to the mosque for “big communal events”; however, that dog won’t hunt. Doesn’t she know that most Americans only go to church for “big communal events” such as Christmas and Easter?

The LA Times reported that a childhood friend of Obama’s claims that Obama did attend Friday prayers at the mosque. “We prayed but not really seriously…said Zulfin Adi, who describes himself as among Obama’s closest childhood friends.” Omaba’s friend added, “Barry (Obama) was a Muslim. He went to the mosque. I remember him wearing a sarong.”

Look, it may be impossible to ascertain just how deeply involved in Islam Obama and his family were, and it doesn’t matter that much. If he was a Muslim, he was a Muslim and Muslims must stay Muslims. No exceptions. He has admitted that he went to a Muslim school, studied the Koran, attended the mosque and his father, stepfather, and grandfather were Muslims. Therefore, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, we are safe to assume that it is a duck.

Whatever the facts as to his Muslin involvement, that happened when he was very young without him having control over his life. The question is: Is he lying about the level of his involvement with Islam? Is there any mental, emotional, spiritual, or financial connection with any form of Islam at this time when he alone is responsible for his decisions? Will some reporter ask that question? I don’t think so.

The media should ask Obama if he supports the right to freedom of conscience, religion, and association. Even the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, “Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. This right includes freedom to change his religion or belief.” However, no Muslim has the right to reject Islam under threat of death. Question: Senator Obama, do you believe Muslims have a right to convert to other religions without fear of death for apostasy?”

For him to continue as a viable candidate, he will be forced to agree to that freedom principle so the following question should be asked, “Senator, since you have just admitted that the Muslim teaching of death for apostasy is wrong, how do you reconcile the Koran’s teaching (in one passage) that religion should not be forced upon anyone to Mohammed’s teaching in the Hadith that a Muslim is to be killed if he rejects Islam?” Does any reporter have the courage to ask that very important question? A follow-up question is, “Senator, do you have fear of being killed by the peace-loving Muslims as an apostate or for declaring that Mohammed was wrong?”

Obama wants to tie himself to the civil rights movement and did so in his Selma speech where he said, “[M]y grandfather began to imagine something different…His son, who grew up herding goats…” No afraid not. His grandfather was well to do and his son (Obama’s father) was a very intelligent student and not a goat herder although no doubt goats were a part of the animals on the farm. Question: Senator, you have repeatedly said that your father was a goat herder when that has been disproved. Why should the voters believe you even if you tell them today is Monday?”

The Senator confessed in his book, "Pot had helped, and booze, maybe a little blow when you could afford it... Junkie. Pothead. That's where I'd been headed: the final, fatal role of the young would-be black man." Questions: How young did you start using drugs? How long and how frequently did you abuse drugs? What drugs did you use? Did you ever sell illegal drugs? Where did you acquire them? Do you regret using them? Exactly how old were you and to what do you attribute such poor judgment? Don’t expect those questions to be asked since they are a little more precise, painful, and personal than “Did you inhale?”

The Chicago Tribune, 3/25/07 did a shattering piece on Obama that went to his honesty. Obama says he awakened to racial issues when he was nine after reading an article, accompanied by two photos of a black man who was scarred for life by his efforts to lighten his skin. (No, it was not Michael Jackson!) However, the Life article did not exist admits Life’s historians.

If Obama will lie about race, drugs, family, etc., what else will he lie about? Is this an indication of lack of character? His story of being underprivileged, persecuted, etc., may relate to non-thinking Blacks, but the story is totally false. What else is false about Obama? Will some reporter ask some of these questions? Don’t hold your breath unless blue is your favorite color.

Tweetwell...i dont really care about his drug use. i understand that he'd have to hide or play it down in the position he is now becouse of the legal issue's and the fact that this country is SUPER hypocritical when it come to drug use. everyone uses when teen or young adult, but then somehow, by middle age, they've never touched it and are APPALLED that anyone did, and would CERTAINLY vote against anyone who would admit it, becouse...well, lets be honest....that'd be a terrible message to send to our young!!...so stupid.

the rest of it, honestly....he should be honest the first time about it.
