TweetHave you tried going through a credit union?
They usually base things off your credit score, not your ability to repay.
Tweetso i applied for a loan so that i could pick up a new to me truck the other day. i got pre approved and all that call today to get everything setup as i found the truck i wanted and bam they say i don't make enough money. I go to college and work so yea i don't make 3 grand a month however i don't have any real bills and i have sold my old car so i ahve all that money just sitting there to make payments until i graduate in august. so basically no im stuck cause when i got pre approved i sold my car and now they tell me i can't get a loan. I don't have a cosigner either cause my dad has some child support crap on his record that ruins his credit. this sucks just needed to vent if anyone has any suggestions let me know thanks jamescb77

TweetLie about income
Tweetif your score is good they wont or shouldnt verify it.
TweetYea... don't do one of those high interst deals... Try a Credit Union. Give them something for a down.
Forunately, when I was in my 20's I had the same CU and they did it off the fact I had been there forever (since like 12yrs old when I had a newspaper route). I had shyt for credit...
If I win the powerball this week I'll give ya my truck I have now... It's sweet... Sorry bro...

TweetRols hit the nail on the head. I been in Finance for over 10 years. Always get your loan through the dealership, and ASK THEM to find you the best rate. They generally deal with about 20-30 banks. When you go to a car dealership, they only ask you how much you make. They never ever ever verify it. So when they ask you, put down on your app that you make $XXXX a month. If your credit is over a 630, your gold.

TweetHow much is this car and how much do you bout make.
And almost all loan forms for various items have me fill in my monthly income, but don't know how or if they do verify it.
I also have pretty **** good credit for 26 years old. I believe I'm in the 780's and always get approved for anything I apply with no cosigner and I don't believe I have any late payment history on any thing I've ever had on my credit score.
TweetAlso might have to save some money. Doesn't look like you said your putting anything down up front for the loan so that can hurt some people with little/no credit or a lower score.
Tweetthats the ticket!!! search for the same unit at autotrader.com (taking for granted that original dealer WONT submit it somewhere else and boost your income themselves. (fukin retards shoulda known better. i'd fire their dum****'s). if they approve you with proof of income (dont get too silly and give your self a 4k a month raise or something), i'm sure there's plenty of guy's around here that can whip ya up a paystubb! (if not, let me know...i got's people for that)...dont get twisted, get "creative".

I'm sorry to hear that, James. That phucking sucks royally.
My brother is a very good bull****ter and he's told me all of the tricks that they use to sell cars. For starters, NEVER EVER fall for that PRE-APPROVED bull. There's no such thing. That's like your girlfriend being pre-pregnant. That's what they say to get you in that door. Then they drop the bomb once you're there. Get you all nervous to either find another sucker....otherwise known as a co-signer. Or for you to come up with more money.
About a month ago, I started signing up for those Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes. I figured it's not but a 5 minute daily routine online. But then you have all of those ***** ass sponsors of theirs with this and that to either refuse or accept. After filling out the PCH stuff, apparently my computer automatically fills out everything else. But since I refuse them all, I thought nothing off it. Next thing I know, I'm getting calls and emails from a SoCal Kia dealer telling me that I "already approved". But I had alot of questions for them, since they called me at a good time. I began asking how did they get my private cell number, what finance company am I approved by considering they have no employment info on me, and my all time favorite, how did their finance company approve me if I've been on disability for the past year? Guess what? I could hear the smoke leaking from her ears from her confusion. That was the first and final time I heard from them.
Tweeteveryone keeps assuming you got a "pre-approval" (witch are not always COMPLETE bullshyt, but rather based on criteria that the mailing dealer searched the various credit bureu's for such as becon score, length in bureu, credit avail, ect...you still have to have a job, income, ect.), is that the case? or did you APPLY, get pre-approved, but the unit your looking at is too much of a payment for your stated income?...there's plenty of way around this, i'm having a difficult time believing the dealer/salesman is that much of a nimrod

Tweetmy credit score is in the lower 600's i went on and applied for a loan from HSBC thats where the small dealer that i was going threw told me to apply. i stated that i made a little more than i do and they said they needed varification from a pay stub i sent them it and they said it wasn't enough. Im looking for about 11000 in loan and i can put 1000 or so down. you think if i went to a dealer like i ford or chevy dealer and applied and said i made a little more than i do there would be problems? do you think they would ask for proof?
