TweetMakes perfect sence to me.
TweetI'm surprised to see Toyota/Lexus on that list. The rest doesn't surprise me. Nissan Altimas are crappy cars. My friend's 2005 Altima is always in the shop.
TweetNothing really stands out to me either. I wouldn't expect to see the Passat on there. You gotta look at what the recall is though. Sometimes it doesn't make a shyt really.
TweetToyota are not even recommended this year by many magasines and auto clubs.
So much that the stocks of toyota went on security trading and couldnt be trade for a period of time!
Here lexus:
9. Lexus ES 350
Model year(s): 2007
Potential number of vehicles: 55,000
Reason: Defective floor mats can slip forward and trap accelerator.
come on, now that no recall lol
three doodoo is back! Hide your women!
Tweetwow...it does seem that the lexus made the list with 1 recall....and, it appears that it was floor mats that trapped the accelerator to the floor (a little on the dangerous side, but not a problem that would stop it from moving)....i'm gonna pull some industry stuff and see if there's more than what being announced. hard to believe they make #9 with that!
on the flip side...it leads ya to believe that the domestics (chysler dont count) must be doing an awsome job!! not even making the list, and a fuked up floor mat was #9! lol
also, your right...toyota's quality is droping like a rock. i've always said, with high production #'s for toyota, the quality prob's are gonna increase. and, with domestic's cutting back on production, there quality will keep going up. the tables will turn on toyota...this is just the beginning...

Tweetfloor mats? come on now, they where just looking for something to put on that list, lol.
Tweetthe list makes perfect sense to me. The fact that Honda and Mercedes are not on it makes the most sense. However, I am surprised that Ford is not on the list. Let's face it, American cars just aren't what they were in the 60's and 70's. Maybe we are finally figuring in out.....or.....maybe 2007 is just a fluke year.
IMO, Honda and Mercedes make the two most reliable cars on the market. That's just my opinion, but the list seems to agree.
TweetToyota gonna do like GM did...
"We are so big and have a name" that they will seat on their japs' ass and cut corners for profit.
I find toyota cars to be ****ing boring, toyo and lexus, reliable cars, the employee of the month but boring dull and nothing exiting. Even the manager of the new camry said on this car "boring"
I miss the supras, the mr2 man where is toyota with ideas now.
Ford improved alot, lets face it and with all their money problems they have to bring reliability back to their products.
I personally think that the list is stupid, seriously, I am looking at the problems and they judge the product based on a floor mat sliding. Come on, or a reprogramming of the management computer.

TweetWell, this list is about to change. LOL I just heard on the radio today that Ford has to recall 1.2 million vehicles with a certain engine in them from 1999 to present.
TweetFord changed the game with the modular power plant. 300,000 mile domestics. The domestic giants have always been ready for the crusher at 100,000...not anymore.
Tweetyay for honda!
Tweetsuprised the wranglers up there
TweetWhew- I saw Tundra, but its the 06- I bought the 07
TweetYou have to understand Lexus recall for the floors mats for liability reasons. Negligence = class action.
I'm surprised Mercedes isn't on their. They've been putting out some **** box cars lately compared to their simple engineering prior to the mid 90's.
