I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
TweetYa being a child of the 80's it is a dream that they actually made a live action movie. Even better is that it was very well done. It is no academy award winner but usually when they try to make an adaption it is not very good. This was great!
Tweet^ thats what i was worried about...i remember watching the cartoon, so i was a little apprehensive about how they'd put it together. i havnt heard anyone our age (30 somethings) biotch about it

TweetI didn't think it was going to be very good, I went to see it and it was friggin awesome. Very intense action which is usually a tough thing for movie makers to bring from cartoons or comics because there is so much character build up.
Totally a buyer for sure!
TweetI havnt got to see that one but heard its good

TweetJust out of curiosity what kind of HD TV do you have? I'm looking to buy one soon. I am leaning towards a LCD instead of a plasma.
TweetPlasma's black color is the deepest black you can get which looks awesome .Also the picture looks more real than the overpriced LCD's .LCD's look more bright and lively which makes the picture unreal imo .If your leaning towards plasma's get Pioneer or Panasonic (panasonic is a great bargain) For LCD I heard Samsung makes the best ones ! I got my 50' Panasonic Plasma 720p on sale for $1800 @ Bestbuy .I tried to compare the 1080i to 720p and noticed no difference unless you are watching close to the tv ! Watching HD is heaven then when I see standard it makes my eyes hurt n squint lol .

TweetYa it all depends what you are doing with your tV. If you are into movies plasma can not be beaten, if you play alot of games then I would lean towards lcd as plasma (although they have largley solved this problem) have the ability to get "burn in" which is where a static image left on screen for too long will leave a permanent image on screen. Movies are awesome, years ago I had a 480p plasma that looked like high definition, flames looked so real it was awesome.
TweetI was thinking about getting the Sony Aquous 1080p. It's supposed to have a good deep black color.
