My phucking feet are killing me... heading to the podiatrist today in hopes of getting some inserts for my shoes... walking is absolutely painful, especially after sleeping, sitting, etc... Anyone else have this problem and what did you do to resolve it?

I can take care of that in three visits.

You need Myofascial release, ultra-sound, and taping. Easy fix if done by the right practitioner.

Your thoughts on orthotics? I have a feeling that is what my dr. will prescribe...

      IG,

Long time, no talk. I hope all is well.

As for your plantar fascitis I have one word for you...Birkenstocks. Trust me, I used to work at a Birkenstock store in college and the high arch alleviates the pain by supporting your arch and decreasing the stress on the tendon that runs along the bottom of your foot. In turn, this decreases the need for the body to make up the extra bone that attaches to the tendon. Birkenstock even sells shoe inserts.

I know Birkenstocks are ugly as hell. But, if they make your feet feel good they are worth it. I wear mine everywhere, even in the house.

You can go a step further and get some custom orthotic inserts as well.

Give the myofascial release, ultra-sound, and taping a shot along with the right footweare and you will be golden.

Good luck. Hit me up if you have any questions.

      kdogg,

Brutha, it's funny you mention Birkenstocks because that's exactly what I did - purchased a pair... even my podiatrist commented about them, "Spartan has arrived." The look absolutely "tree-hugger-ish" but damn they feel phucking great. I plan on picking up a few more pairs.

The taping for it is quite simple. I will take some pictures and post to make it easier.

I had the same problem, and I easily resolved it. I stuck a safety pin through the shaft of my manhood. I completely forgot about the pain in my foot.

Thanks Dr. Prion! I assume athletic tape works best? I got some stints/boots to sleep in - pain-phucking-full... WOW! I could only go for about two hours... plus they are so damn cumbersome...

Yes. Athletic tape works the best. Red Green would argue that though.
