TweetHow can that be unconstitutional, it's private property.

What a crock! They have no right to be stopping people for no reason, and without probable cause simply because of their age group. That is age discrimination and is unconstitutional! This is the type of garbage that must not be tolerated!
It's one thing to kick out and ban troublemakers. It's a different story to just kick everyone in a specific age group out!
What is this country coming to?

Tweettwo malls are not letting kids under 16 to be unaccompanied by a parent/adult after 4pm on weekends or something like that.
TweetCan't say I blame them. Too many parents dump their kids at these places as a babysitter then the little bastards end up gettin into trouble. I don't really see anything wrong with it.
Tweetfuk it...it's their biz. if thats what they want to do. not the choice i would make. i'd open a video game thing

TweetNo that would be in violation of the 64 Civil rights act specifically title 6 which covers public access.
TweetThat's what wrong with society today. People are so willing to allow crap like this. Do you people not realize that by taking away a staple of being a teenager like the mall, you are forcing kids on to the street?
Do you people not remember what it was like to be a teenager?
Age discrimination is illegal. You can't descriminate against someone solely because of their age unless it coincides with other laws. For instance underage kids aren't allowed at a place that serves alcohol. That makes sense because it's illegal for underage kids to drink alcohol so there is no reason for them to be there.
On the other hand kids spend I think they said the figure was 50 billion dollars a year. They have just as much of a right as anyone else to go to a mall. If they want to walk around with friends, window shop, and hit the food court up for drinks and stuff what's the problem with that? Kicking trouble makers out is a whole different story. If they are disturbing the peace, they should be removed (only the violating party).
So sad how kids these days are getting phucked by the generation that's in charge now. Kids can't even go out in the yard without having to worry about being abducted. All the things that we had as kids are being stripped from the kids of today. Absolute BS!!!!
TweetYea, I do remember what it was like to be a teen. I live in a very rural area so malls weren't our thing. We went to parties, movies, cruised dirt roads, got laid and got into fights. That's how it is in the south. Our parents did't drop us off at a place of business to serve as a baby sitter.
They aren't banning the kids just establishing a curfew right? I really don't see how this is gonna put any damper on the money spent.
As far as puttin the kids on the streets, are you saying that it's the retailers responsibility to watch the kids? Last time I checked that was the parents duty.
Tweetsame here and i wasnt down south...grew up in the country on a ranch...had shyt to do, and when i was done, we'd run out to the woods with a bunch of the old mans beers, start a fire, get drunk, screw one of the neiboring farmers daughters and puke till we passed out...good ol' american shyt!
i dont see how that's giving up any rights or allowing anyone to trample on a flag!! i dont see the constitution being burned here, so give me a break...i dont know the sircumstances that lead to this mall taking these messures...it's a place of biz and if the kids were even a minor bennifit to the place, they wouldnt go to that extreme. on the other hand, if they are intimidating the PAYING people, causing fights and braindamage, then i agree with them!...you WILL NOT, EVER, find my kids dropped at a mall without my suppervision, unless they are going to a movie and they are 14-15 or so...and if i get wind of them jackin around OR EVEN THINK they are jackin around, it'll be the last movie they ever go and see untill they are 18 anyways!

TweetNice appeal to fear. Ohh no kinds are going to be running rapid, the horror.
Ok you claimed it's unconstitutional, here is a copy of the constitution show me. What law does this violate? FYI the only federal civil rights law that deals with age discrimination clearly covers people 40 and over, not 16 and under, it's called the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
TweetAmen brutha man! Instead of parents lending out their credit cards and cash, how bout the damn kids earning it like I had to fukkin do? Want some money? Go wash the car, cut the grass, take out the trash, etc.... That's how it should be. Oh and since when do kids have any fukkin rights? Shiot, the only rights I had was the right to do what the fukk I was told, period.
TweetYou guys are a'holes! I seriously don't even know why I bother posting anything anymore.
Not everyone grew up in a farm, or in the ghetto. Many of us grew up in the suburbs and it was a place to go when you were a teen. The problem is most of you responding are too old to have gone to the mall, because it wasn't popular in your generation. So you feel that because it wasn't important in your generation, then it's not important.
Tweetdude...you get so twisted up about nothing. i'm truly sorry you had to rely on a mall for your entertainment as a child. i wouldnt wish that on anyone, and i think you have the right, nay, the DUTY to try to lead us old men out of the dark ages and into the 21st century! dont get frustrated bro...your doing a good job!
