Thanks for the suggestions bro. I've thought about the XD 45 but the angle of grip doesnt feel right to me. Not to mention they're on backorder for months. I'll look into the HK's as well.

Thanks again, its always fun talking about guns.

Yea I like a longer grip, which is another reason I went with the H&K. Try one out bro, you will like it most likely. I don't know what you plan to spend but H&Ks are a little higher than some others. Mine was $800, plus I spent another $100 for night sights. The tactical version is around $1,100.

I'm hoping to not exceed $900 which I think is feasible. Above that and you're getting more into customs and the like. I'm really leaning towards the Kimber now. Talked with my uncle earlier who has one as well and he said its his favorite of all his guns.

I could always spend $100 on a High-Point and blow the rest of my money on crap.................nahhh. =)

I just sold a Desert Eagle .50 a week ago. It had the 44mag barrel with it. That gun is enormous, but I was told that they jam a lot.

I bet man. A friend of mine shot the S&W 500 a couple weeks ago and said he was through after about 3 rounds. Said he almost broke his glasses. 50's are just too much in my opinion. No need to decapitate the guy when a 45 will do the trick.
