People who can't spot!!!!

TweetSome punk I asked to spot me today almost got me injured. Today is my leg day so I'm doing squats. I'm not that strong so I needed a spot with 315lbs since I'm doing 5x5. Well the first guy I ask to squat me says "what are you doing?" I say squats. He says "how do I spot you?" I'm thinking to myself ok this is going to be a risky attempt. Anyways so I tell him to just watch and if I get stuck to grab my waist and help me up. Well he stands 6 feet behind me as if he's homophobic or something. I get to rep 4, I want to do rep 5 but he was too far back to support me so I just racked it. For my next set I ask another guy to spot me and this dude stands on the outside of the squat rack instead of behind me? I'm like "go behind me." Well guess what he does? He gets behind me as I unrack it and does not step back as I am stepping back so I end up stepping on his right foot with my right foot and I twist my ankle. The bar tilts all the way to the right, I was able to control it and get it back into balance. I yell at his ass to move back and he just keeps apologizing and is now shaking so there is no way he could spot me right, again I only get 4 reps in because of this punk. Luckily my ankle didn't twist all the way around because it could of been a really nasty scene!!!

Ask an attractive woman next time (if possible). You don't need alot of help to get that extra rep and she will help with some motivation. And in general women will ask you specifically what you want in a spot - and in general these upper body guys don't.
