Tweetbodybuilding to me is 3 things. drive, determination, and discipline. without any of these three things, you will fail. its about changing your physique into something better, something that sets you apart from the average person. busting your ass in the gym, eating food you don't always want to eat, sacrificing a social life at times and just overall being dedicated. thats what it means to me.

TweetBodybuilding means so many things to me. It completed me. I was a scared person with low self-esteem for a lot of my life. I compensated for that by hanging with the wrong people and involving myself in the drug world. I hated being skinny so much that I resorted to being a druggie and a man ***** to give me peace of mind. Four years ago I decided I needed a change and hit the gym, I was very scared of the gym, I figured I would be made fun of because I was so little and weak. Bodybuilding has become my number one priority, first thing I think of everyday is "How will I get my calories in today". I stopped doing drugs and I actually met the girl of my dreams, but if I lost everything tomorrow, I would still bust my ass in the gym.

TweetBody building is the art of taking an otherwise average or below average body and turning it into a work of art. It's the dedication, drive, and will power one must exude to stay on a strict diet and workout regimine to attain the perfect body. It's the dedication one must put forth in order to make a lifestyle that will not only make them healthy, and look good, but also make them more confident than they have ever been. And most importantly it's when you reach your goal and you keep striving to do better and better far beyond your original goal! It's not a form of training, It's a way of life!

TweetBodybuilding is a deliberate and self imposed daily ordeal subjecting oneself to countless hours of agonizing training and a myriad of gastronomic depravation, which behavior is considered obscenely obsessive by the pedestrian populace to achieve and maintain the ultimate physique yet applauded and idolized by fellow bodybuilders yet admired and envied by all.

TweetTo me body building got me through the hardest time i have ever had to go through in my life, as some of you know i lost my wife and 4 year son in terrible car accident, so turning to body building and eating right was a huge part of therapy for me, the gym was the one place i could go and only think about me and watching my body change was one the most uplifting and wonderful feelings.

Tweetbodybuilding to me is just a part of life now.... it started as away to improve my self image and has snowballed into improving all parts of my life. it has definitely made me a better person.
