TweetHead of congress... So I can bring any issue I feel to the table to be voted on. Then we could put an end to a lot of the bs that goes on in this country!!! I'd be the jerk that all the companies would try to buy off and I'd tell them to kiss of since I'd be making a pretty penny as it is. Then I'd go and shut down all the holes that corporate america has got a stranglehold on.

TweetI wouldn't want any political office. Its a thankless job. The biggest reward is the feeling of power, which I get enough of in weightlifting. Any change you try to make gets you a shitstorm of opposition and the press will attack you with every mistake you've ever made in your life that somebody saw happen. Shit I don't know how politics can attract ANY talented people.

TweetThat should be the biggest reward but is it really? A lot of idealistic politicians lose their ideals quickly when they enter the political arena. If they don't play it safe they often find themselves exposed and vulnerable to opponents' attacks. There is some quote something like this:
political quarrels are competing selfish interests posing as idealistic principles
